We had a wonderful stay at The Reef Coco Beach. One of the things we enjoyed most was how quiet and relaxing the hotel was. It never felt overcrowded, which made it easy to unwind and enjoy our vacation. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and polite throughout our stay. A special thank you to Zoila, who was an amazing host and made us feel truly appreciated. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job—they were efficient, respectful, and never intrusive. We always felt comfortable leaving our belongings in the room. The food was good overall. While it wasn’t the best we’ve ever had, it was enjoyable and offered a decent variety. But it can improve During the first two days of our stay, the elevator was not working properly, but the hotel resolved the issue promptly, and everything worked well afterward. Some suggestions that would make the rooms and stay even better would be to add a coffee maker and a microwave for guests’ convenience. The hours of the swimming pool and hot tube needs to be extended. Also the doors need a new striping to avoid waste much energy. Overall, we had a great experience. Thank you to the entire staff for making our vacation enjoyable! PS. The Taxi and shutters drivers were great too. 1000 kudos to Esmeralda our taxi driver.

A great place to just hang out and enjoy your time in Playa. Staff were amazing and helpful at every turn. Restaurants were top notch, especially the Mexican restaurant. Summer seaweed was a constant stinky headache, but that's not the resorts fault, they cleaned it up every morning.

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times. And every time it’s exactly like how I remember it. The staff is so helpful, it’s a smaller resort so you run into the same people building friendships and everywhere you go you are greeted with a hello. Some of the key selling points are its proximity to fifth Avenue, you can walk and there is no need for a tax Taxi, which saves you some money. Fifth Avenue has lots of options for shopping and eating and I couldn’t imagine having to take Transportation every time I want to get into the city. It’s easy to find a pool chair. The bartenders are very friendly. The staff at the spa are amazing and the check-in and checkout process was easy. Yulianna, Boris, Illena, Nadia, Edmundo, Zelia, and Cressy just to name a few were some of our standouts when it comes to staff. While I understand, there are bigger resorts, this hotel has character and charm, and build a community with all of those who are frequent guests here. I travel a lot and have met many people at this resort who come back time and time again and I will for sure be one of them.

En general el hotel es lindo y todo está muy bien ubicado,la comida rica y las bebidas bien de la barra. Nos gustó mucho el servicio de club infantil que nos dan un tiempo en pareja por que los cuidan en si y les ponen actividades en todo el hotel. El servicio del personal como todo unos muy atentos y otros algo groseros al pedir propinas, pero nosotros como familia si regresamos. Lamentablemente nos tocó playa con sargazo pero pues es muy cómodo por que están los camastros y sombrillas a nuestra disposición, y el personal limpiando lo más posible para que nos pudiéramos meter al mar; por qué quisimos ir a una playa de afuera y era imposible tocar el agua y nos dimos cuenta que la ayuda de estarla limpiando si hacía diferencia. Gracias en general al hotel, muy agusto.

It was truly the best trip of my life. The only place we ate for 9 days was the buffet. We chose this because the food was always delicious and the staff truly feel like friends. The hotel has wonderful people, is clean and lovely. Thank you for a great experience.
