Overall, we had a great anniversary stay at TRS Yucatan and really enjoyed the adults-only atmosphere, which felt more peaceful, cleaner, more luxurious, and better maintained than the connected resorts. Check-in was welcoming with drinks and champagne, though the SPC Upgrade package did not seem worth the extra cost for us. Our room in Villa 63 was beautiful, clean, and well maintained, and our butlers Jessica, Jose, and Patricia were friendly and helpful throughout the trip. We did see one small cockroach on the first night, but after informing staff, housekeeping performed a deep cleaning immediately and we had no further issues for the rest of the stay. The Infinity Pool was our favorite because it was cleaner, had a better atmosphere, and offered beautiful views. The saltwater pool also looked amazing, though seaweed during the season limited our experience there. The buffet was good, but the restaurants were much better overall, so booking reservations early is highly recommended since they fill up quickly. We tried El Gaucho twice and thought it was good, but our favorite restaurant was Tentazione. Since we were celebrating our anniversary, the staff went out of their way to make it special with decorated tables, roses, and cakes, which was a thoughtful touch. The golf cart transportation around the large resort was also very convenient and always quick. Some trip highlights included Chic Cabaret, the Mexican show, and the nightly entertainment.

The shuttle service was excellent. Lots of food options, just make reservations early. The property was huge with lots of amenities. Best restaurant was La Boheme and Cappricunio. Everyone was so helpful and welcoming. Make sure you keep American dollars on you to tip and pay. Also don't go shopping in Playa del Carmen because it's so expensive, especially if you a tourist!!! Stay on the resort and bring everything you need.

I honestly don’t know where to start- from the moment we walked on site at TRS, everything was a complete dream come true. The staff went above and beyond to spoil us the entire trip. From leaving little surprises and treats in our room, to ensuring we had a VIP table and beautiful room locations- this hotel has it all. We came for the quiet “low key” resort vibes and the food- but we will be back for the service and the incredible community. We’ve traveled all over the world and this is by far one of the best places we w stayed. The butlers ensured our room was completely cleaned and organized (multiple times a day), we never waited long for anything if we made a special request, and truly every moment was built with such intention and care. The resort was so spread out and spacious so nothing felt crowded, we had no issues getting dinner reservations when we needed them, and the grounds were magical to explore filled with beautiful wildlife. My one and only complaint is we had 2 girls who needed feminine products on the trip unexpectedly- and they don’t have any on site. We had to go to a neighboring resort store that was a little tricky to find/navigate. That being said- we can’t wait to come back to TRS! Oh- and DO NOT SKIP THE CHIC CABARET! One of the best resort shows we’ve ever seen and the food is unreal!

I would definitely recommend staying at this resort! The rooms are cleaned and tended to multiple times a day. They even turned down your bedroom in preparation for you to go to sleep (slippers by the bed, water on the nightstands, chocolate on the bed). Helios the breakfast & lunch spot on TRS Adult side was good! definitely try the steak and omelettes! The outdoor pool is great. Cabanas were very comfortable. Staff & butlers are extremely helpful!

The staff was absolutely amazing, and the resort itself was breathtaking — easily the most beautiful resort I’ve ever stayed at. Every meal we had was incredible, from the restaurants to the room service. El Gaucho was definitely our favorite restaurant! My partner and I celebrated our 3-year anniversary during our stay, and the resort made it feel so special. We attended the Chic Cabaret and experienced a beautiful cultural show, along with a special dessert and anniversary shoutout that was so thoughtful. Every staff member we encountered was kind, attentive, and welcoming. We truly loved every minute of our stay and cannot wait to return.

Came here with friends; We had a wonderful stay! The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and the breakfast buffet had a great variety of fresh options. The resort was beautiful, the rooms could have been a little cleaner/maintained especially in the shower area. Private pool was not functioning properly but still was able to use. The staff was incredibly friendly, especially Patricia in villa (63). The golf cart transportation was always readily available and the resort had a lot of great fun activities, like macrame, archery, rifle shooting…etc. The food could be better, especially the quality of the steak at el gaucho.
