We really enjoyed our stay. The food at the restaurants were excellent. Staff was friendly. Kids club was the best I’ve ever seen. My 5 y/o didn’t want to leave. Nightly entertainment was good. Location was good, quite spot but 1 mile walk to town if you want to go shopping. Would recommend. Couple of things I would improve: 1. More bars with TVs. Especially during football season, there was not enough places to watch the game. 2. Teen club not good. It was never open, no activities, no kids there. 3. Plastic cups on top of garbage cans. While I appreciate they are wanting to recycle the cups, it does not look good having garbage out in the open blowing all over the place. There should be dedicated containers for cups.

Great place for foodies! So many options and places to eat. Not satisfied with beach and ability to swim in sea water. Lots of huge rocks under the water, not safe to swim. Service is great, no complaints. Kids club is an awesome option!

Just enjoyed an amazing 10 night stay. The food was amazing. The rooms clean and modern. Pools were great. The staff was over and above expectations. The beach was the only thing that didn’t amaze as it’s not very swimmable as it’s rocky and the tide can be high on windy days. Overall 10/10 experience, definitely would recommend for families, couples and retirees.

It was a good experience stayed for 6 nights with kids everybody enjoyed but there was very less options for indian vegetarian food so we suggest them to put some vegetarian options in lunch and dinner.

We just stayed 11 nights at the Ventus Ha with our 3 children (8, 10, 12) and had the most memorable experience. The property is on the north side of the road and provides access to the Marina El Cid as well as the Ventus El Cid, plus all of their respective amenities, restaurants, bars and pools. The Ventus Ha itself is the most serine and modern of the 3. The fact that it is across the road made it more secluded and private almost, and the other properties were easily accessible by “carrito” (golf carts) which are readily available on request. The Marina (1st built) provided an excellent typical Mexican resort energy with full buffet breakfast every morning until 11:30 and a family friendly party atmosphere with swim up bar, daily pool entertainment, water slide and cliff dive. The Ventus (2nd built) was an amazing in between feel, again, very family friendly with a huge main pool with waterfalls, and 2 additional infinity pools, 1 of which being adult only. It also was where the main lunch spot could be found, named Mercado de Dolores. The Mercado had an abundance of options for everyone, almost like a food court with Mexican, Italian, Asian and many more options like custom crepe station, ceviche bar and much more. Full service was provided at all dining establishments. Various dinner options available by reservation too. Washrooms and towels were always within steps of where we were, the staff was friendly and welcoming. We can’t wait to go back!! ¡Hasta luego!
