The staff was terrific! There could have been a little more music by the pool areas as it was very quiet most of the time. Perhaps though that is the vibe of the property. The restaurants were just ok. Breakfast was pretty standard but the other places were just average. Unfortunately due to events, we were not able to enjoy the rooftop restaurant. However, I will say that our room came with a butler and he was terrific! He helped us with off site reservations and his recommendations were terrific. Love the area though as you can get to restaurants and shopping very easy! The property is definitely very nice! One thing to be aware of, they do host a lot of corporate and wedding events. This is important to know because it affects availability in restaurants, pool areas, and can have fairly loud music until 10-10:30p. If you are ok with that then not an issue - just something to be aware of.

Great location to walk into San Jose Del Cabo. Convenient to other nearby stores. Great hotel if you want to be able to walk out of resort and get to nearby restaurants and shops. Great staff! All rooms have ocean views.

We had an exceptional experience at the Viceroy Hotel while celebrating my fiancée’s birthday. The property itself is stunning with beautifully designed, modern, and effortlessly luxurious. We stayed in one of the penthouses. A special thank you to our host, Victoria, who truly made our stay unforgettable. She was attentive, responsive, and consistently went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. She is definitely an asset to the resort. I’d recommend her if you’d like a host that takes pride and servicing her clients. Her level of care did not go unnoticed. I would also like to recognize “Hope” at the front desk for her professionalism and warm hospitality during check-in. She made the arrival experience seamless and welcoming. Overall, every staff member we encountered contributed to a high level of serve that exceeded expectations. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a refined and memorable stay.

We’ve made it our unofficial hobby to “research” most of the major Cabo resorts, One&Only Palmilla, Four Seasons Costa Palmas, Nobu… tough life, we know. So when we arrived here, we’ll admit, first impressions had us a little unsure. The hotel sits right off the main road (not exactly the dramatic, guarded-gates entrance we had imagined), and the lobby felt… let’s say “cozy.” For a brief moment, we wondered if we’d made a mistake. And then we saw the view. Instant mood reversal. The property opens up beautifully, with buildings cascading toward the ocean and villas stretching toward the beach. We initially upgraded to a three-bedroom villa… and then, in a completely rational and not-at-all indulgent decision, upgraded ourselves again to a 4/5-bedroom villa “for privacy.” No regrets. Thanks to a large part to Mr. Torres. The views? Unreal. The service? Even better. Our butlers, Jacob and Victor, absolutely nailed that perfect balance of attentiveness without ever feeling intrusive, something even some of the top-tier resorts don’t always get right. Every single staff member we interacted with was warm, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. Special shoutout to the beach staff, who were consistently fantastic. Safe to say, we’re already planning a return, and maybe even plotting a more permanent arrangement (villa ownership is suddenly sounding like a very reasonable idea). Nothing but great things to say about the Viceroy.

Beautiful hotel with a very calm vibe and great service. Everything was so clean and friendly staff were always ready to assist. Lovely shallow pools surround the walk ways to the restaurants and beach plus beautiful ocean views from our room add to the serene environment. Absolutely stunning!
