This was our first trip back to the Viceroy after it was purchased and rebranded. A couple standouts: the architectural vibe and customer service remained top notch. All of the staff are friendly, approachable and over the top helpful. The live DJ and art exhibits on the water create a unique experience for any stay. The personal concierge is also a huge added bonus. A few things that have diminished since our first visit: food quality and cost on site - the downtown area has much better food and beverages for more reasonable prices and unforgettable experiences. The overall maintenance of the property is good but there are definitely components that are showing wear 10 years since the hotel opened. Overall it was amazing to return to the hotel and we look forward to another visit sooner rather than later.

Our stay at the Viceroy Los Cabos was nothing short of spectacular. The architecture is a visual marvel—the minimalist white buildings contrasted against the massive, reflective mirror pools create a serene, cinematic atmosphere the moment you walk in. Walking along the paths feels like floating on water. Beyond the stunning design, the service was impeccable. Every staff member went above and beyond to anticipate our needs without ever being intrusive. The culinary experiences were outstanding, the property was immaculately clean, and the tranquil atmosphere made for a perfect luxury escape. Highly recommend and will absolutely be returning.

The staff was terrific! There could have been a little more music by the pool areas as it was very quiet most of the time. Perhaps though that is the vibe of the property. The restaurants were just ok. Breakfast was pretty standard but the other places were just average. Unfortunately due to events, we were not able to enjoy the rooftop restaurant. However, I will say that our room came with a butler and he was terrific! He helped us with off site reservations and his recommendations were terrific. Love the area though as you can get to restaurants and shopping very easy! The property is definitely very nice! One thing to be aware of, they do host a lot of corporate and wedding events. This is important to know because it affects availability in restaurants, pool areas, and can have fairly loud music until 10-10:30p. If you are ok with that then not an issue - just something to be aware of.

Great location to walk into San Jose Del Cabo. Convenient to other nearby stores. Great hotel if you want to be able to walk out of resort and get to nearby restaurants and shops. Great staff! All rooms have ocean views.

We had an exceptional experience at the Viceroy Hotel while celebrating my fiancée’s birthday. The property itself is stunning with beautifully designed, modern, and effortlessly luxurious. We stayed in one of the penthouses. A special thank you to our host, Victoria, who truly made our stay unforgettable. She was attentive, responsive, and consistently went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. She is definitely an asset to the resort. I’d recommend her if you’d like a host that takes pride and servicing her clients. Her level of care did not go unnoticed. I would also like to recognize “Hope” at the front desk for her professionalism and warm hospitality during check-in. She made the arrival experience seamless and welcoming. Overall, every staff member we encountered contributed to a high level of serve that exceeded expectations. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a refined and memorable stay.
