I stayed at the born matador hotel for 10 days. Everyone was so friendly and the location was good for me out of the medina. I have a bike in the hotel always thanks to everyone there!.

My phone and ipad were stolen from my room one afternoon while I was surfing for an hour. The staff and I were the only ones with access to the room. The manager and his receptionist were completely uninterested in the theft and refused to contact the police. The room was locked and the thief only took my electronic belongings. They left my cards, passports, etc. It appeared that they knew exactly what they wanted and when to let themselves in and remove my belongings. I talked to a few American basketball players who were staying at the hotel and their watches had been taken from their rooms several days earlier. There would seem to be a fairly efficient system in place at this hotel. I would be extremely cautious when staying here. The room itself was very comfortable, and breakfast was simple but perfectly enjoyable. I was supposed to remain for four nights but departed early after I was relieved of my valuables.

I stayed at Born Mordor for two nights and would come back. The hotel staff was very friendly and helped me practice arabic. Breakfast was normal Moroccan hotel area bread, pain au chocolat, white cheese, jam, butter, freshly squeezed orange juice, and of course mint tea. One morning when they stopped serving breakfast, I came down, and the staff went out of their way to set up a tray for me anyway. When it comes to visiting Medinabeach, it's a 510 minute walk to the beach, which is not horrible, and a 510 minute minicab ride to Medina for 8 dirhams equal to 1 dollar. The room was comfortable and clean, the bathroom was supplied with towels, and the television and wifi worked without a hitch. I will recommend this hotel to my friends.

The reception staff was really helpful and friendly, the room was clean and welcoming, and there was a limitation that the bathroom was very narrow, so that made me uncomfortable if I didn't have my own car, however, overall this place is a great value for money for its price range.

In May 2008, I spent two nights here with a group. The room was small but clean. The hotel staff was friendly. Breakfast was decent. Breakfast is served at the cafe downstairs, but in the morning this cafe is still closed and is only accessible to hotel guests. Sadly, the hotel is not well situated, and it is extremely far from the Medina and the beach. You must take a taxi. For this reason, I do not recommend the hotel.
