We really enjoyed our stay. It is like an oasis in the desert. Very nice peaceful atmosphere, very friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Children friendly, lovely swimming pool, outdoor gym, places to relax. Room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. If you hire a car and look for some quiet place away from busy town, this is definitely the best option.

C’est un ecolodge et non pas une hotel de luxe 5 étoiles, les commentaire négatif ne reflètent pas la réalité de l’établissement, ces même commentaires négatifs ont pu me faire douter alors qu’en réalité c’est un petit coin de paradis excentré du centre ville

Si vous aimez le calme, la nature, la simplicité , la gentillesse vous devez poser vos bagages à l'écolodge de l'ile de Ouarzazate. Dès votre arrivée vous serez accueillis par l'ensemble du personnel (en particulier par Fatima qui est une personne adorable et avec le coeur sur la main). Loin du bruit, de l'agitation urbaine des villes marocaines, l'endroit est idéal pour se relaxer. Que ce soit au bord de la grande piscine, sous de la tente berbère ou dans le luxuriant jardin potager . Le concept du lodge écologique et respectueux de l'environnement est assuré. Certes quelques brèves pannes de courant mais cela parait normal quand on est en total autosuffisance. Néanmoins cela n'enlève rien au plaisir de séjourner dans cet havre de paix situé à une dizaine de minutes en voiture du centre ville de Ouarzazate. ( très bien géo-localisable sans connexion internet via une application gratuite sur mobile). On est venu pour un jour et nous nous y sommes sentis tellement bien que nous aurions voulu prolonger notre séjour. Merci pour cette expérience géniale dans votre superbe établissement. Je souhaite à Fatima et Youssef une excellente continuation

My wife and I stayed here for one night on our road trip out to Merzouga. We were pleasantly surprised! Staff was super friendly and nice, food was great, the room was big and comfortable. There were even peacocks roaming the grounds. We had a great time and would come back for more nights. The only setback is that it's aways from the main road but if you have your own car then it's not too bad.

Pros: - The location is BEAUTIFUL. The grounds that the Ecolodge are set in are very well kept, a lovely pool, pleasant places to sit and watch the sunset. The views over the lake are wonderful. It feels very tranquil and as it is quite far from town it is very quiet. - The staff are very friendly. Mustafa remembered all our names and greeted us at every opportunity. - The included breakfast was very generous and to the same standard as other places we stayed. - Two very cute dogs to pet! Cons: - The rooms are quite basic. We stayed in a number of places in Morocco and always at the same sort of price and this room was the most basic - a little dark and didn't feel sparkling clean. The shower took a long time to heat up and was only "warmish" when it did. - We visited in January when it is very cold at night and requested the heating be put on. As this is an "ecolodge" they only allow electricity to be used 4 hours per day so we found the room a little chilly, compared to other places. Some people may see it as a good thing that they are so energy consious though! I would be worried that in summer it would be far too hot without A/C. - The service was a bit weird. The asked us for a cigarette, which we didn't mind giving one, but felt odd (especially as the boss sent someone to ask on his behalf). They very kindly offered to fetch something from town for us but didn't say how long it would take and after waiting a couple hours we just decided to go ourselves

location... not easy to find, but once arrived our group of 6 wanted to isolation+rest and relaxation. Upon arrival we discovered our 2night stay was cut short...as the 2 last rooms, had a technical issue with the solar panels...NO electricity ...NO water.. Everything possible to compensate, by making arrangements elsewhere (nonetheless respectable)..they offered free supper, asked us to stay for music...invited and gently insisted we return for breakfast next morning.....just to note..."" we were taken care of!"" thank you very very much for the generosity and kindness!!!!!

일단 숙소 위치가 별이 잘 보이는 곳에 있기 때문에 시내에서 산 쪽으로 많이 들어 가야합니다. 렌트를 하지 않았다면 매우 비추합니다. 근데 위치가 문제가 아니라 평점 8.2점이길래 믿고 예약했는데.. 숙소가 과하게 자연친화적입니다. 숙소 외부뿐만 아니라 숙소 내부도요.. 더워서 미칠 뻔 했는데 자연보호 때문에? 전력 상황 때문에? 아예 안 된다고 하더군요. 허허... 또 화장실이나 침실도 관리가 정말 부실합니다. 화장실 물때도 문제였고, 샤워하는데 물이 병아리 눈물마냥 졸졸졸 나와서 샤워도 제대로 못했습니다.(다른 방에서 물을 쓰면 수압이 미친듯이 낮아지나봐요) 그리고 침구도 더러웠어요.. 얼룩은 기본이고 먼지랑 작은 부스러기 같은 것들이 매트리스 위에 그대로 있었어요. 그냥 빨리 체크아웃해서 숙소 옮길 생각만 했습니다. 가격 대비 정말 불만족입니다. 사하라 사막 베이스 캠프 침실이 더 좋았던 것 같습니다..

Location - very difficult to find as it's far away from the main road... had to drive on gravel and guessing which building is the hotel (I have a 4x4); no signal there either to call the hotel on how to get there Internet - none in the rooms Dinner - overpriced and slow. they charged a significant amount because there's literally no restaurants nearby, and we had to wait for 2 hours sitting outdoors with lots of flies and mosquitoes flying around Staff - very rude. the waiter demanded a tip after the poor service. Moreover, a young hotel staff who doesn't speak English also tried to charge me double for hotel taxes, even though it was clearly written on the hotels.com voucher what amount i should be paying. NO Electricity - their hotel's electricity came from solar panels, making the power supply in the room unreliable and unpredictable Shower- very weak water pressure NO Air conditioner - although they claimed it works before I made the booking, it did not work for me and they said it's because the electricity at the hotel is not guaranteed, again due to the solar panels. Coupled with mosquitoes flying around at night, and taking into account of the heat in the desert, I couldn't sleep at all Insects - mosquitoes, cockroaches, insects everywhere in the room, although I expected it when i booked it Pool - extremely dirty. No one dares to swim in it
