Both Martin at the desk and the housekeeping staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good, location is excellent. Great place for a mellow and relaxing stay in Maputo, if you're looking for alternatives to the posh 5-star hotels.

This is a wonderful place! Your host is a wonderful person and the communal area is stunning and unique. I was passing through and found myself having drinks with the owner and wanting to stay a couple more days just to enjoy the place! If you're passing through and looking for an affordable place to stay, this will be the best place to find.

We spent five nights there, and this was the turning point in our auto journey when we met Miguel the proprietor of this superb guest house. The location is lovely and cozy, in a prime, secure area, and within a maximum 10 minute walk of any restaurant, supermarket, or even pharmacy. Breakfast is a suburb, so at least one must be consumed. The rooms were pleasant and kept neat. The outdoor terrace was also maintained clean and tidy. The bathroom was always tidy and clean, with a lovely scent. The personnel were always helpful and jogging. Particularly Miguel, the proprietor, who really exhibits a high level of hospitality and welcoming. Additionally, I would add that the hostel is directly next to Pere Restaurant, one of the oldest and must try restaurants in auto. Unforgettable stay, and I'll always suggest staying there to anyone who intends to go to auto.

The house is very beautiful and resembles your own home. The owners provide us with a tour and even converted two separate beds into one big bed. We stayed on auto twice in two weeks. Although I was very happy that we booked her for our second stay, I regret not finding this location earlier because I had booked somewhere else for our initial stay. What a fantastic location! The hospitality is outstanding. Best hospitality we have encountered in Mozambique. When we came, we drank fresh coconut water. The host gave us a tour and even turned the two separate beds into one big bed. My boyfriend needed a computer to backup our photos to his usb, and he even set up a laptop for us. He is very helpful and friendly.

The host is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a common area. It is well located close to the main restaurants. There is also a mall directly across the street for money exchange, grocery shopping etc. Unfortunately the bed was not very comfortable it was a bit expensive for a backpacker.
