Located in the center of the town. There are few alternatives available, so if the rate is more than your budget, notify the manager, as before exploring further. The view point on Junigian is the hotel depicted here, not the two-hour getaway hotel at idle lake, which the majority of reviews imply. On the way from idle lake to Kala, on the wagon, we stopped there. Manager is very friendly and has excellent English. For the standard mattresses, which are too firm for me, and additional blankets, it was December, and it was cold nights. Each employee is courteous and helpful. Wifi in the lobby is acceptable, though not in all rooms, but it is good, slow, or steady. Street-bound rooms are probably noisy. I was sleeping soundly in the back. Hotel tidy. My apartment, which is in the grey building in the main image, was covered in dust from the mosquito screens, which were a buffet breakfast that included fried rice noodles, eggs, toast, butter, jam, tea, and coffee.

The overall experience, in spite of all flaws, was wonderful. Despite a few flaws, one instantly falls in love with this location. The rooms are very large and decorated with exquisite burmese artwork. In some ways it reminds me of a few of the best African lodges. Wood flooring in the rooms, shower floor tiled with modern black non-slip tiles, walls in rough beige stone. Shower gel, shampoo, and body lotion were in large containers, which did not respond to pumping, reported to staff, sorted. There appears to be a small basket with a sewing kit and something small which could have hidden cotton buds. Not pleasant, easy to repair. Curtains required sweeping. The bed was good and the pillows were fine. I didnt like their free water. One bottle per room. It is served in those bottles with a rubber seal and metal wire. This means that they refill it from their purified water source. If water is unsafe to drink, chances are that the bottle was refilled with good water but handled and washed with unsafe water. The restaurant is well laid out and the chef is excellent. The table covers generally are not up to standard. You find stains waiting for you as you sit. Like most places in Mandarin and Vietnamese, clean forks and knives are placed on the filthy tablecloth as they gather next to the kitchen

The hotel is one of the few eco-lodges in the area with beautiful rooms on a tiny inlet. The food is excellent compared to other restaurants in the area. If you want to stroll to the main town on idle lake, the location is excellent, but it can be noisy at night because it is close to a long boat pier. Boats currently don't run after sunset, so I found it quiet for sleep. What I thought made the hotel unique was the service. On Valentine's Day, they sent me a card and roses.

The service here was a bit run-down. The food was very tasty and well presented. And then, the dining room is on the first floor, with a nice outdoor gallery. After that, they offer free wifi and clean restrooms.

Jungian is the main crossroads for the roads to Kala, Lookat, and Hero airport. A small town known for its large pao market. The View Point Hotel, not to be confused with View Point on Illegal Lake is a non-pretentious standard hotel in the heart of the town. Very clean, comfortable rooms, excellent bedding, and an open shower Typical bathroom. Breakfast eggs, fied rice, etc. There are no evening meals, but there are a few basic eateries just outside. Excellent job from the staff, who are very friendly and welcoming. The manager was charming, helpful, and spoke excellent English. Sadly, on the main road, so it's a noisy place to stay for the night after a long day of travelling. Great view from the rooms on the higher levels.
