I had a great time at the beehive and will definitely return. I highly recommend it! 10/10. I recently spent a week at the beehive in rome. I chose a firstfloor room in the sweets next door with an ensuite bathroom because i am a little older than your typical hostel guest. The room was very clean and had good heating because it was february or march. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom shower was good with plenty of hot water. I had a small balcony with french doors, a table, and chairs, which was perfect for a cup of coffee in the morning. There is a communal kitchen where you can prepare your own food, with a fridge to store your supplies. The conad supermarket, termini station, and the metro are both within walking distance, which was very convenient. There are activities at the B, and you can participate in them or not. Trivia night, pizza night, etc. Great way to meet other visitors from all over the world, both young and old. I imagine the cute courtyard would be a great place for the activities in the warmer months. Linda and steve are very handson and friendly. Yuli at the front desk is also very welcoming and friendly. There are volunteers running the activities, and gabby in particular has a great personality and an assest to the business. Easy walking distance to the colosseum and centro storico, but if you want to go a bit further and for coming home after walking and sightseeing all day, i recommend taking the metro. There are many restaurants around the hostel, just ask the staff and they will point you in the right direction. Particularly if you want other cuisines. Linda and steve also have a bagel business, so make sure you try them!

We had a wonderful stay at the beehive. The rooms and kitchen are very spacious and clean. Kevin is a great host, checkin was very smooth. The garden at the reception is very comfortable, perfect for having a few beers. Overall i highly recommend this hostel.

I would recommend anyone visiting rome to stay at this place. The rooms were very clean and every detail was taken care of for comfort. Made some good friends here. Linda was very helpful and very resourceful. They host many events such as dinner and cooking classes, this is a great way to meet new people. I highly recommend attending these events. Steve hosted dinner and cooked a few italian delicacies, i loved it and even had a great conversation with people from all over the world.

I cant recommend it enough. I stayed in an allgirl dormitory here over the summer and it was such a wonderful experience! My mother and her friend also stayed in the private suites later and loved everything. I was grateful that this hostel is safe, clean, quiet refuge in the city and close to everything! I walked all day and getting trains to other places is also easy as it is only a few minutes walk from termini. Linda and steve are such lovely owners and have created a true community here at the behive!

We had a great time staying at the twin room beehive. Very friendly setting, allowing guests to chat and share information in the evening or over breakfast in the small kitchen. Try the fresh bagels for supper. It was great to hear everyone talking in the early evening with delicious pizza and wine. The little courtyard garden was a great place to relax. The location is convenient for the metro and termini stations. The hosts are very helpful.

Next time im in rome, ill be back! Best hostel stay ever! Not to mention the convenient location right next to the train station, behive was the coziest, cleanest, and most welcoming hostel ive ever stayed in. The outdoor garden area was ideal for a drink or a book reading during the offseason of exploration. The rooms were comfortable, wellequipped, and all one level, which is great because i had so much luggage! This was exactly what i needed after four months of traveling and feeling very homely. Thank you so much to the owners and receptionists for providing some great recommendations too!.

I heartily suggest staying at the behive! I had such a great time at the beehive that i intend to go back the next time i visit rome! The food prepared fresh for us for supper was fantastic, and the staff was always very accommodating and available. I enjoyed participating in the planned activities offered to visitors from around the world. The behive has a lively, youthful vibe, but it is not a party hostel. You can have a leisurely stay while having plenty of activities. I stayed in the sweets, a private room, but i still had access to the common area shared by other visitors. As a solo traveler, i felt safe and secure here. And the convenient access to termini station is unbeatable.

I had an amazing stay at the beehive. The staff was amazing, the location was great, the rooms were clean, and there were many personal touches and characters which became very rare. I highly recommend it and will definitely stay there again when next in Rome. I also had some bagels that they make. A true highlight!.

This hostel comes highly recommended. Its in a great location, right next to termini station for trains and the metro, with a really friendly atmosphere and cleanliness. Its a social hostel with events throughout the week, but its also quiet enough overnight to make it easy to sleep. The owners have an app that recommends places to eat in the city, and if you contact them with any questions, they are very responsive and helpful.

My stay at the beehive was truly delightful! The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the facilities were impeccably clean. Linda and Steve were exceptionally thoughtful and provided valuable recommendations for exploring the city. Additionally, the location was exceptional, just a 5minute walk from the termini, ensuring easy access to public transportation. As someone who enjoys walking when traveling, i can confidently say that they are conveniently located near all the essentials for a comfortable stay in the city.

I spent 12 nights here in a private room, and im so happy i did! Steve and linda are amazing, and their userfriendly app helped me explore the city. They host wonderful dinners where you can meet other visitors. I wont stay anywhere else in rome! They provide a wealth of useful information and recommendations! Very clean, and walking to almost anywhere in Rome is the best way to get around is to walk!.

The behive is a muststay hostel in rome! The staff is very nice and the rooms are very clean. They have great recommendations for things to do, see and eat. Regular lowpressure group activities are run by volunteers who go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Homemade bagels are amazing! Its a bit of a walk from the most famous places, but the termini station is very close. I loved this hostel and will definitely stay there again when i next visit to Rome!.

The hostel is nice and clean, with a homey atmosphere. I felt comfortable just hanging out in the common areas, which is not the case in every hostel. The kitchen and bathroom are decent. There is no secure luggage room, which i believe is an amenity every good hostel should have, so i give it 4 stars instead of 5.

I studied and interned in italy many years ago and am familiar with the city. After several years of cancelled trips to it or plans changing at the last minute, i finally got to stay at the beehive. And it exceeded my expectations! Following linda and steve on social media for the last decade, it was amazing to watch them grow and prosper in their entrepreneurial spirit one business at a time during the pandemic. This time, im in town for my best italian friends wedding and was thrilled the beehive had opened! The location is excellent, 5 minutes from termini station. My private double room was huge and exceptionally clean and wellmaintained. The remote control ac was nice to have in the late autumn heat and the wifi was super fast. The behive apartments were very quiet and the communal kitchen had everything we needed for groceries and enjoying a latenight snack. The courtyard was very cute and relaxing to hang out in after a long day of walking around the city. And we really appreciated how accommodating the staff at the beehive (linda, Yule, and angella) were. My partner had to join me earlier on the trip and they made checkin a breeze and completely stress free. We also loved the beehive app with all the recommendations in the area, so we didnt have to do much research. And the WhatsApp group provided a sense of community getting ready for the trip and during! It felt like staying in a community house with friends rather than a formal hotel. The personal touch and care for everyone is one of a kind. Thank you so much! We look forward to staying with you all again the next time we are in the eternal city!.

I completely forgot to post a review here! I spent a little over a month at the beehive this fall, and i had a great time. I had never been to a hostel before, and i was not let down. The common area has everything you need, including a kitchen, appliances, a fridge for keeping your food, couches, and a nice collection of books. Additionally, pizza is available for free and delicious every night of the week! There is also a happy hour in the evenings, even though i didnt really take part. The hosts, linda and steve, as well as the rest of the staff and volunteers, are extremely kind and accommodating with anything you might need. The hostel is very close to termini, making it very easy to get everywhere, as well as several grocery stores, and a ton of restaurants and cafes. I appreciated how peaceful and uncrowded the neighborhood was. I had a wonderful time, thank you for hosting me!.
