We stayed in Patan for the weekend and enjoyed this hotel. It is a new hotel with nice finishing touches. The major sightseeing highlights are all in walking distance as well. The hotel owner provides a unique walking tour that lets you see a side of Patan that most other tourist will never see.

Property is currently undergoing renovation and expansion. The renovated rooms are clean and spotless. location is quiet away from noisy streets. Owner is very friendly and gives a nice tour of hidden Buddhist gems of Patan area. Staff is very helpful.

Info vom Reisebüromitarbeiter! Der perfekte Einstieg nach Nepal! Ich kann das Hotel allen Interessierten nur wärmstens ans Herz legen. Die Zimmer sind absolut sauber und gut eingerichtet. Die Lage in Patan ist deutlich ruhiger und angenehmer als in Kathmandu. Nachts ist es relativ ruhig, wir haben hier die ruhigsten Nächte unseres ganzen Aufenthaltes in Nepal genossen. Ein besonderes Plus ist die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter! Das enthaltene Frühstück ist ok, kann aber durch geringe Aufpreise auch erweitert werden (Porridge, Müsli usw.) Das Hotel hat einen besonderen Chef, wer will, mit dem macht er eine private Führung durch Patan um den Gästen seinen Stadtteil näher zu bringen, bitte unbedingt mitmachen. Wir haben auch die letzte Nacht unserer Reise wieder dort verbracht und wurden wieder total herzlich empfangen! Zur Info, ich bewerte normalerweise keine Hotels, dies hier ist es aber auf jeden Fall wert. 2 Dinge noch, auf den Bildern kommt nicht gut raus, dass die Zimmer sehr große Fenster haben, wirkt eher dunkel, ist es aber nicht. Und, bei uns war die bei Expedia abgedruckte Telefonnummer falsch was unseren Taxifahrer veranlasst hat mit uns 2 Stunden das Hotel zu suchen! Hier evtl. sicherheitshalber nochmal auf der Hompage des Hotels schauen und Nummer vergleichen!

Would absolutely recommend this lovely hotel with boutique-style interiors. We only stayed in pagan for two nights, and on our first morning, the charming hotel owner welcomed us for a complimentary two-hour walking tour! He also gave us a tour of all the secret peaceful community spaces, shrines, temples, and houses, as well as a well-informed history of the city and the Pali language. He was extremely welcoming and hospitable. The cuisine was also delicious! During our stay, we tried breakfast and lunch, particularly if you like a lighter meal. The entire crew was welcoming and accommodating and cleaned our room, replenished water, toiletries, and refreshments, even without asking for them. They also accepted cards payments, which was quite handy when traveling on a tight budget.

Definitely recommend staying here. Very beautiful small hotel in a savannah, very clean and tastefully decorated. Close to dunbar square. Friendly staff and good food. The highlight of staying here was the complimentary walking tour escorted by the owner, very informative and above expectations.

I could no longer recommend this location. What a treasure. After spending a few nights in a tiny and dull room in the noisy, crowded, and overpriced Thamel, I discovered a motel and a neighborhood that were among the highlights of my trip to Nepal. The Veranda Gala is a newly renovated hotel that combines all the flavors of tradition with the comfort of modernity. The interior decoration was tastefully done, spacious rooms, lovely beds, warm lighting, and a well-equipped bathroom. You feel privileged to see the ancient backyard from your window, which is located in a quiet, heritage-rich neighborhood nearby a pagan dunbar square. On top of that, the hotel owner took considerable time during his day to show me the many treasures of a neighborhood that may well be a tourist spot.

I highly recommend this place, and will definitely stay in this place again. The place is very cozy, cozy, and inviting, with a welcoming, attentive, and helpful owner and his family. The hotel has large rooms, a wonderful bathroom, a very comfortable bed, and an incredible view. Great restaurants, ancient temples, and culture are all within walking distance. There is also a spectacular location, which is right on the historic pagan dunbar square, which has so much history.
