Woodapple is super clean, professionally run and a great hotel to just escape the hustle of Kathmandu. The staff were amazing and were extremely helpful and supportive to any of our needs. The rooftop restaurant has a great outlook over the city.

This hotel is perfect in every way. It is nestled in a quaint little street off the busy roads of Thamel in Kathmandu. You often hear guitar and singing from the cafe below in the late evenings. The hotel employees offer the best hospitality possible. You are immediately greeted with everyone in the front desk standing up for you every time you enter the hotel. And let me tell you I was pretty active so I entered numerous times a day. And every time they stood up for me. Just absolutely beautiful people. Breakfast is amazing too. You get plenty of buffet food choices and A la carte as well. I stayed for 27 nights and each day was amazing. I never had a bad day. My room was immaculate because housekeeping cleaned everyday. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The AC was high functioning and plenty of toiletries were always available. As a good gesture the manager offered me the presidential suite for my last night. It was a very big room with a jacuzzi. Everything about this hotel was just right. It’s also a 10-15 min walk to mostly everything. I’ll definitely stay here again for my next trip to Nepal. You just can’t go wrong staying here.

My stay was pleasant and great. The manager (Ram) was welcoming and addressed any concerns I had. He even had one of his staff members (Nishesh thapa) go find me an ESIM card. Which was greatly appreciated. The manager and the staff went out of there way. Location was great. Breakfast was Yummy. Would stay again.

Here is the English translation: ⸻ On the first night of our stay, we found an opened bottle of Coke in the room’s refrigerator, which made us feel that the cleanliness might not have been thorough. However, the hotel is located in a great area for shopping, and the rooftop restaurant is excellent, offering both a beautiful view and delicious food. All the hotel staff we encountered were warm, friendly, and provided helpful assistance.

Can't really believe this is just rated as a 3-star hotel. I've stayed in 4 and 5 star hotels that didn't offer the same comfort and rooms. Staff are amazing, always responsive. Breakfast is decent and the treatments in the hotel's spa were great. Best of all, rooms are clean and spacious.

This is the best hotel in the Thamel area. The hotel is always clean and the staff is so nice and extremely helpful! I have stayed there a few years in a row and they remember me and are so welcoming. Great location too!

During my solo trip to pashupatinath, i stayed at this hotel for three nights. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The choice to have a free breakfast turned out to be a wise decision because the food was delicious. Situated in thamel, the hotel is conveniently close to all the major attractions. The beds were extremely comfortable, the room was equipped with all the essential amenities, and the view from the 5th floor was breathtaking. As a solo traveler, i had some concerns about safety and security, but the measures in place pleasantly surprised me. Overall, this has been one of the most memorable and satisfying lodging experiences of my life.

The cleanest hotel with very well designed rooms. Friendly people and great service with a great view of the city and surrounding hills. There is a smart tv in all rooms for entertainment, and the rain showers in the bathroom are also amazing. Its a pleasure staying here.

The woodapple hotel was a very pleasant place to stay. Our family needed three rooms and they were all very clean and very comfortable. The restaurant on the seventh floor was great and had a beautiful view.

We stayed for 3 nights. If you want topnotch luxury for your Kathmandu stay, this is the place to stay. All mod cons including Netflix and in the heart of thamel so everything is close by. We stayed on the 6th floor with great panoramic views of the city. Really quiet except when other hotel roof top bars start! Breakfast and restaurant are to be commended, make sure you ask for anything you fancy but not on the menu as they can usually rustle something up! If you are looking for something more authentic and affordable, try another part of the city but if comfort is a priority, you cant go wrong here!.

The hotel is lovely, and the staff is really helpful. The location isnt great, but the hotel and its staff are fantastic. The problems begin when you try to sleep, with loud barking dogs outside and locals who think nothing more than revving motorcycle engines outside the hotel at three in the morning.

I heartily endorse woodaplle to anyone who values comfort, quality, and topnotch service. It was a delightful experience staying at the woodaplle hotel in katmandu! The rooms were peaceful, cozy, and warm, completely shielded from any road noise. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the quality of the bedding added a touch of luxury. Hot water was readily available, adding a layer of comfort after a long hike. The hotels restaurant offers a breathtaking view of katmandu, adding to the enjoyment of meals. The breakfasts were delicious and fresh. The hotel is situated in a prime area, with cafes and shops close by. Everything was excellent overall!.
