- How to reach Pokhara town from India:
There are multiple points where you can cross the border and enter Pokhara directly from India:

Alternative Route to Reach Pokhara Take a 2-hr drive from Gorakhpur (UP) to the Sunauli border. From there, you have two options to reach Pokhara: By Road: A scenic 7–8 hr bus ride for around NPR 1000–1200. By Air: A quick 15-min flight for around NPR 3500.

- Uttar Pradesh (Lucknow):
Reach Nepalgunj (3 hours). Fly from Nepalgunj to Pokhara.
Or reach Sunauli (3 hours). Then, take a bus/cab (7 to 8 hours) or a direct flight to Pokhara (25 minutes).
- Bihar: From Patna, reach Birgunj (6 to 7 hours). A direct flight to Pokhara takes 25 minutes.
- Delhi: Reach Mahendranagar, Nepal, by bus (7 to 8 hours). From here, travel to Dhangadi airport (1 hour) and take a flight to Pokhara (1 hour).
- West Bengal: From Siliguri, drive to Kakarvitta (1 hour). From here, a bus to Pokhara takes 12 hours.
