We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Apollofirst boutique hotel. The room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. And we enjoyed the cafés and restaurants nearby.

Loved this hotel on a leafy Amsterdam suburban street (Apollollaan) close to the 24 tram stop with easy connections to Amsterdam Centraal Station and Leidesplein/Museums. The hotel had nice breakfasts, caring, respectful and helpful staff who were concerned that my wife was sick during much of our stay. Spacious rooms, lovely historic decor, quiet, hotel. I left a copy of my "Meeting" Anne Frank book for their library and for other guests to read. Dutch King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima have visited the hotel. Thank you for our stay.

Good location - a quiet street but very accessible for public transport, cafes/restaurants and important museums. Staff - very attentive and helpful, always available. Breakfast - fairly standard international breakfast menu of good quality, with additional options made available on request. Room - top floor single room perfectly adequate size for all practical needs but inevitably felt a little small and dark because of the layout of the roof space and window. Sometimes rather warm at night even with airconditioning on. Would visit again.

From being to end of our stay was excellent, front desk outstanding, always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Room was comfortable,as was the bed and pillows. Lots of amenities, patio area and bar. Close to transport, returants, museums etc. Would definately return should we be in Amsterdam again.

Clean room, good location, neighborhood felt extremely safe even walking late evening. Bed was comfortable and even though we did not go for the breakfast, they alwahs had cold water and apples out for customers in the lobby which was a nice touch.

The experience was awesome. The hotel (incl. rooms) and its environment were so calm and nice. We had the feeling that we were welcome and treated as "VIP" ! The breakfast was very good and quite complete. We were 3 couples and we strongly recommend to stay at this hotel.

The staff were incredibly helpful and made accommodations for us with our baby. The tv wasn’t working the first evening and the team ensured it was fixed by the time we got back the next evening. The room was spacious and clean. We would say that the lift is quite small so on arrival we went up on a few trips but this didn’t bother us

An elegant, cosy and welcoming hotel that we looked forward to returning to at the end of each busy day exploring the city. The area is upmarket, with lovely shops, pharmacy, small supermarket and restaurants just around the corner. We stayed 5 nights. The room on the first evening wasn't ideal for us but the reception staff acted immediately to arrange an alternative for our stay. All the members of staff throughout the hotel were friendly, polite and attentive. A special mention for the housekeeping staff who ensured our room was immaculate for returning to in the afternoon/evening. Very comfortable mattress with a deep topper and soft, good quality bedding. I definitely recommend going for the hearty breakfast and you'll be warmly welcomed by Sam and team. The transport network is brilliant in Amsterdam and easy to use, tap in/out. If you have large bags or suitcases I'd recommend that from Amsterdam Zuid train station take the Station Zuid number 5 tram which stops off close to the hotel. Use google maps to see the tram destination and stops along the way and to live track your journey. Having looked at many, many hotel websites prior to booking, I'm very happy that I chose the Apollofirst Boutique Hotel. We will certainly book to stay there again on our next visit to Amsterdam.
