This is all inclusive cruise ship in a hotel format. There's plenty of wine, liquor, snacks and a full breakfast. It's equidistant from the main shopping district and from museum square. The rooms are poky, but most people don't go to Amsterdam to sleep all day in their room. While the overall cost was reasonable, there was a very wide variance between the individual nights. Probably something to be mindful of. Overall, a very good experience.

★★★★★ An Exceptional Stay at Banks Mansion Banks Mansion exceeded every expectation and was the perfect way to begin our European adventure. The location is outstanding—close enough to walk to so many of Amsterdam’s highlights, yet tucked away in a peaceful spot along the canal. Our room was beautifully appointed, comfortable, and a wonderful place to relax after long days of exploring. What truly sets Banks Mansion apart is the hospitality. Every member of the team made us feel genuinely welcome, always greeting us with a smile and happy to offer recommendations or assistance. The all-inclusive concept was a lovely touch, with drinks and snacks available throughout the day, making it feel more like staying in a gracious home than a hotel. From the warm service to the comfortable accommodations and unbeatable location, Banks Mansion delivered an experience we’ll remember for a long time. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Amsterdam.

What a joy. We felt close to everything, the room was lovely, and the staff was incredible. The front desk staff as well as the ladies in the breakfast room made the stay exceptional. We were impressed by the serve yourself bar and enjoyed lounging in the lobby. The hotel set a high bar for the rest of our European vacation.

Conveniently located and very comfortable hotel. We really liked the fact that the lobby area was very welcoming and everything was included. It was a great place to come back to after a day exploring the city. Extremely helpful staff and wonderful breakfasts - probably the most complete we've had in Europe.

Great location between the center of town and the some of the more neighborhood restaurants and shopping areas. The staff are extremely helpful. We very much enjoyed the "all inclusive" nature of the hotel meaning that all of the drinks in the room and bar are included as well as nightly cheese and crackers. The room is a bit pricey but I found that this is consistent with most of the other nice hotels in Amsterdam. I would definitly stay here next time visiting Amsterdam.

Staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Location is excellent. Room was very comfortable, quiet and well equipped with everything needed for a long weekend stay. Complementary minibar was great. Roomy bathroom with big shower. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful with a very good range. “All inclusive”is a great idea - a huge range of alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks in the very comfortable lounge. A really pleasant place to sit and relax. The daily wine and cheese buffet looked excellent, although we were busy each evening so didn’t indulge.
