Traveling through country roads is always fun, especially when you know there is a place to rest at the end of the road. This was a delightful surprise for us. The Sandhorst is right out of the country. We stayed in a contemporary building that reminded us somewhat of an African camp with lots of open space to see birds, flowers etc. The room itself was spacious with a wonderful modern bathroom with toiletries, a hairdryer etc. The beds were very comfortable, and yes, there was birdsong in the morning! Breakfast was in a communal room overlooking a tranquil lawn with irises, villas, and two fruit trees shaped like giant umbrellas, the perfect place to sit and rest. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Our arrival was a bit late, so the hosts led us to the red lion de rode lee, a terror, about 5 minutes away. Well worth it, excellent meal. Would love to return and spend more time at the wandhorst and explore that area of the country.

Very nice hosts and staff, breakfast was already provided the day before and had everything you could want, a wonderful little room, and pets were not allowed for a small fee. The neighborhood around it is ideal for woodland walks. One feels so far away from the hustle and bustle, but if needed, there are a few supermarkets just a short distance away. Fast wifi. I felt satisfied staying another day. You undoubtedly require an rps!.

We will continue to visit the bank! This hotel is ideal for groups of friends, families, and couples who want to get out of here. The location is close to beautiful trails, walks, and nature. The room was lovely with very comfortable beds. The owner is also the friendliest host ever.
