I have stayed a few times when visiting Brielle for the Blues Festival. Pleasant staff, great location, standard buffet breakfast as in most hotels in the Netherlands.

Gedateerd hotel met fijne bediening en service. Bij inchecken bleek de kamer niet geschikt voor kinderen ondanks dat de leeftijd bekend was vooraf (7 maanden en 4 jaar) op een bovenverdieping met open trap en niet sluitende afscheiding. Is echter zelfde dag goed en net opgelost. Ook uitstekende maatregelen qua Corona en ruim gratis parkeren in leuk oud stadje! Bakker, eten en winkels (Hema, actions, drogist, markt) om de hoek.

Cheap and cheerful location in a wonderful small town. The hotel itself is a bit dated with very 70s wooden decor and some rooms having shared toilets and showers (though rooms with full facilities are available) Hot breakfast of bacon and eggs with fruit, toast, cold meats, good coffee and juice is included. Service is really good - the staff are very friendly and positive. Evening meals are high-quality, not that cheap however this is quite an expensive little town. The location is great, plenty of free on-site parking and other parking 2 mins walk away.

Just love this place have stayed here often with work and came this time for pleasure with my wife.

The room was as anticipated from the reviews and photos, as it was extremely outdated with faded carpets and other damage, but tidy, with two children's single beds in a very roomy family room with the two kids in a single bed up a very steep set of wooden stairs in the room so steep that I actually had my youngest sleep downstairs and I slept upstairs because I was worried if he woke in the night for the downstairs toilet he might fall down. The room was very warm, so opening windows was required. The noise from the bar outside the room ended around 12:30 a.m., and then young people sat shouting and drinking in the square outside the room until about dawn. Not ideal for a family room. Whilst I know this is not the hotels fault, when I told staff about this at check-out, their reply was "yes it's always like that, it's awful." I did say that I would not have reserved it if I knew the family room looked over a noisy square where people gathered at night and they should probably tell people this, the staff said thank you. Also, there is a window next to the two children's beds in the upstairs part of the family room without a curtain, so even though the main windows have strong curtains, there is a lot in that room in the morning. I will come back again. The location is in the heart of a charming little town with a lot of history. I will recommend it to everyone. The staff is very helpful and welcoming. The rooms are also well equipped. The breakfast was good.

When you leave the car is inside the hotel, the location of the hotel is behind the street, so if you type the word Voorstraat in google maps, you won't get there in a car because the word Voorstraat is only for pedestrians, so the accommodation is not clean either. The bed in the room was comfortable with the friendly staff. The room was clean even though the condition was a bit old but well maintained.

Bref, it's a pleasant friendly town, and De calm provides a good price-quality. Not the top hotel but good. Visits it with friends, an older couple. Also great to use bicycles. Enough to see in the nearby environment to spend a few days.

Le séjour c est bien passé,par contre manque au moins une bouilloire, un petit réfrigérateur, Des produits d hygiène,le débit de la douche est beaucoup trop fin, la moquette de la chambre doit être changée tachée, usée jusqu’au bout.le personnel est sympathique.
