The next time we visit town, we will look elsewhere. This hotel is in the ideal location, but it leaves much to be desired. Our garden view room had a view of an outdoor stairway. It was extremely hot in June with no air conditioning or fan available. A breeze off the canal in idly view rooms would be the best option. Otherwise, the staff is friendly and have shabby lobby with free snacks and drinks.

I am quite surprised by the low ratings of this place. We had a great time. The staff was very attentive and even allowed us to check out very late after midnight. There were always snacks like snickers and muffins available free for all guests. Our room was on the top floor and it was really spacious and comfortable. Two floors for allowing i have ten large rooms for couples. Would recommend highly!.

The hotel is in an apartmentstyle style, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and have incredibly comfortable beds. There is no breakfast, but they do offer free fruit, croissants, coffee, or tea.

I stayed at the canal view apartment. The view was absolutely amazing. This place is in the middle of town, surrounded by great shopping restaurants, but with very little noise and negative vibes. Service was excellent, the beds were comfortable. Highly recommended.

I will definitely stay there again for the next years work party. The hotel is in a great location, close to restaurants and the red light. Its primarily suited for preparing christmas work parties for one day or night.

We stayed in room 12, which is one of the larger rooms at the front on the second floor. Checkin was easy and the lady was very helpful. The room was really clean, with a nice bathroom and i had savorable views. Although the stairs are quite steep, they are no problem at all and far easier than fewer places ive remained in Amsterdam. There is some street noise because you are at your front, but that is to be expected given that you live in one among the prettiest areas in the center of Amsterdam! If you sleep lightly, bring earplugs. It was incredibly nice that free coffee and snacks were available at reception. Overall, he had an excellent stay for ten nights, and we will return here for my next trip to vancouver.

I heartily endorse this hotel. The hotels location is excellent, its conveniently close to the city center. Its typical for amsterdam, although the rooms are a little cramped. Be careful with the stairs, they can be tastier. There is ambiance there that is both elegant and pleasant.

We had a great time at the grand canal boutique hotel in amsterdam. I stayed at this hotel during our recent trip to vancouver from 24 th to 27 st june. My wife and three children aged 15 to 24 years old were with me. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The reception staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our family room was on the third floor, which we had to use. There were plenty of amenities. A large refrigerator and all the cooking equipment needed were included in the unit. In addition, there were coffee and ya facilities. Just outside our door was i saw he washing machine that appeared to be for our exclusive use as it was right outside the door. This hotels mail appealing features included 24hour receptionist service, horrible coffee maker, and snacks like chips and chocolate bars available at reception for free morning croissants as well as free beer and drinks in fridge. Most important tourist attractions are within walking distance of the hotel. Many restaurants and fast food outlets are nearby. One minor drawback was that there was no lift and the stairs, especially up to the 3rd floor were narrow and steep. If you have trouble climbing stairs this may be an issue. Maybe you could request

Overall, this is a very nice hotel and i would be willing to stay here again if ive had to, but hey, in the center of holland where the demand for hotel accommodation is high, why bother? This hotel is in an excellent location in central holm, making it ideal for exploring the city. When he arrived, the staff was extremely friendly and helped me check in quickly. My room was on the top floor and had slanted stairs. The banister was very loose and would have broken unless any weight was placed on it. There was tv in our bathroom with utmost privacy. However, it was clearly in need of recleansing, and the shower curtain rail needed to be replaced because it had seen better days. It was somewhat difficult to leave the room because the door handle fell off in my hand! A bottle of beer and water were provided after ill checked in, which was quite opulent, however, they dont chill these items, so they are given to you very warm. In the apartment, there is also nifty fridge and coffee maker. Both the coffee was of high quality and relatively quiet. Dont anticipate much from these store bought items as these are typically available at reception throughout the day. Be careful while sleeping in your seat because bed will swallow you whole! The staff is friendly. Excellent service at this lovely hotel facing the canal. Be prepared for the steep staircase because it is an old building! There is free coffee and tea in the reception area along with maps, and the service was excellent.

A wonderful building in a fantastic position. When we arrived as swarm of six, we were given complimentary drinks in the refrigerator. The apartment was up incredibly steep stairs, which is typical of amsterdam, adding to its charm. For the location, it was tidy and roomy, and because we lived on the top floor, there was paved outdoor space, making it reeked of life. Fresh fruit, snacks, tea, etc. Are available at all times throughout the day, along with fresh pastries in addition to teetering fans and two portable air conditioners. It was quite chilly when we first arrived, so we also received two mobile air conditioning units and fans. Id love to go back someday!.

The room was small. Ikeastyle white plastic bins in the closet but not usable because the door didnt open wide enough to pull them out. No matter because they obviously hadnt been cleaned in a while, judging by the decomposing battery inside. Air conditioning was incredibly loud portable unit with raveling hose that had to be thrown out the open window so whats the point? No lift! Three flights of narrow, winding, extremely steep ladderlike stairs. Nobody is available to help with luggage. There is no lounge or bar, and there are few amenities other than grabbing fried croissants and putting them down. On the plus side, good location, nice bathroom, 3 young ladies working at the reception desk.

The bed was really comfy. After, the location is close to cafes and food minimarkets. Subsequently, there is no air conditioning. Hereafter, they dont provide ac. Thereupon, this place has noisy music at night until late. Beside that, employees are very helpful.

My husband and i arrived on christmas day and were welcomed to the entire room decorated (we were celebrating our honeymoon). The room had such a peaceful view of the canal which is advisable in Amsterdam. The place was equipped with sytayed mini fridge and was large. Bathroom was also very spacious. There were pastries served in the lobby every morning and beverages and snacks were available throughout the day. Unfortunately there is no elevator so you have to climb very narrow stairs that can be dangerous if you bring your luggage. Overall it was he had ecstatic experience, the location was excellent and we would definitely recommend it.

We had a great time here with the family. Great location in san francisco. Given the previous reviews, we were concerned, but given the mild weather, it was ideal. We were in room 24 (superior room) which offered plenty of privacy. A great shopping area and close enough to trams. Would definitely recommend it to others. Out of the hustle and bustle but still able to enjoy Amsterdam.

We were given a room with symbolic views of the canal, which was very spacious compared to the local standard and had an amazing view. The service was exceptional, we received everything we asked for and more. And the location is the best you can find. Nearly anywhere is within walking distance. Although the hotel does not offer breakfast, it does offer free coffee every day and fresh croissants every morning, so that was sufficient for our day of arrival. Things we didnt like the least are the steep stairs, the difficulty of climbing and the need for luggage. Make sure to inquire about the rooms on the entry level if you find this problematic. Our room was quite sunny, making it difficult on hot days due to lack of air conditioning. Cleaning was satisfactory, but there is room for improvement.

My husband and i stayed here for two nights and were very comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel is in a perfect location, and we were offered many free drinks and snacks. They also offer breakfast in bed for 10 euros per person! We loved our garden view. Bed was comfortable, room was clean, building was quiet.
