As others have said, this hotel is located in an excellent, central location. While this means that you are a 10-minute walk to the train station and all restaurants and shops are within a stone's throw, it also means that you are staying on the most crowded, busiest, and loudest street in the city. So if you're looking for a quaint place to stay, this isn't it! However, once in the room, we couldn't hear the street at all (we were in the back of the hotel, also looking out on a busy walking street). We could easily relax in the room and feel removed from the hustle and bustle. We also loved how large our room was. We had a superior double room, and we had so much space. The bathroom was spacious, and it was a great room for two people. Housekeeping does an excellent job every single day. Our room was always cleaned meticulously. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant as there were so many other options close by. For future visits, I would definitely consider staying here again. I loved having so many cafes and shops close by, but I was not a fan of the crazy street scene outside the hotel, so that would be the only reason I may consider a different hotel. That being said, everything within the hotel's control was fabulous, and I would highly recommend it.

A wonderful safe hotel centrally located in Amsterdam. Despite being on probably the busiest street in the city, the hotel was remarkably quiet. Easy to walk to many attractions and restaurants. Would stay here again!

Central location in a busy part of Amsterdam but only a few blocks away from quiet streets. The hotel was clean, quiet, and secure. Staff are very friendly. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby.

We had superior room on the second floor exactly as on the picture. Good size, clean, renovated, air-cond, coffee machine, fridge in the room, comfortable bed. For that big room I can say is a lacks of furniture. Looks empty. No shelf, nowhere to put your stuff, no where to hung up the coats, very small wardrobe. The same for the bathroom. The door is not not well sealed and the light and noise from hallway seep inside. Central location just steps off Dam square, walking distance of Central Station and sightseeing. Have a free luggage lockers. Good hot and cold breakfast, variety of food.

The rooms were all clean (we had three rooms for our party) and well appointed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. Breakfast had a good selection every day. I would highly recommend staying here if you are staying in Amsterdam.

Comodidades bem limpas e organizadas. O atendimento do hotel é excelente. O banheiro é bem pequeno, mas funcional. A localização é um ponto muito positivo, fica próximo de tudo. Recomendo!

The hotel is located beside the Dam Square tram stop which 750m from Central Railway station. You have the choice of walking or catching the tram from the railway. The pavement is smooth on Damrak which is the main street to the hotel. The hotel is clean, quiet and comfortable with a nice brasserie on the ground floor. The air conditioning was appreciated with the hot weather.Staff are helpful and polite The only suggestion is that they could increase the hotel signage at eye level. It can be difficult to locate the hotel entrance in the heavy Amsterdam crowds.

Great location and beautiful view from room. I booked the city view room and it was a nice view of the Main Street. Got a great night sleep every night and it was nice walking distance to everything. I didn’t use Uber once this trip.
