Last Saturday night while in Winchoten for a gig, we stayed here. To our surprise, room 14 was actually a suite with a roomy living area with sofas, fireplace, table chairs, two beds pushed together, a second bedroom with twin beds, and a large bathroom. Also in the corridor was a large closet and drawer. The suite was large, spacious, and clean, and the bathroom was spacious and clean with twin sinks. The staff was kind and helpful. Breakfast has a good selection of continental cuisine. The lovely employee working that morning, lira, surprised my partner with an apple tart with chocolate and cream and a candle sticking into it when she learned it was his birthday, and we sung Happy Birthday to him. Thank you for everything! The only drawback was that there was noise outside on a Saturday. On a Saturday night, there was little noise outside, but I did slept in the comfortable bed like a log. I would love to be able to find another excuse to visit Winchoten once more and spend more time at Victoria, trying restaurants, and other attractions.

This hotel was recently renovated and very beautiful. This hotel also has a game room with toys downstairs for kids. It is strategically located near the grocery store. I will stay there again in the future. The breakfast menu is very tasty, and the service is very kind and helpful.

We stayed here while visiting friends in Winschoten. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom, plenty of seating, and both Dutch and English television channels. We also eagerly anticipated the hearty breakfast, especially the fresh croissant every morning. The hotel was, itself, very quiet, but the proximity to the winschotens club made it unavoidably noisy on certain evenings. If possible, we recommend not going on fridays and saturdays. This location in the heart of town, however, also made Victoria convenient and valuable to practically everything, including the main shopping street, train station, super markets, bookstores, city hall, etc. This is a small enough hotel that the staff can give careful attention to individual guests. In our case, after spending eight nights here on two separate occasions, lira in the morning and martin in the evening felt like family. They were extremely friendly and always helpful.

This hotel is located in the middle of the town close to the German border. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is very good, the room is also spotless.
