Everything at the Intercity hotel Leiden was perfect. The staff were brilliant always very willing to help, check in and out were simple and quick. My room was very clean and quiet and the bed and shower were great. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was very good. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Location was a stone throw from Leiden central station which convenient if you are travelling to nearby places. About a 5-10 min walk to the city center. Room was a good size and comfortable. Shower pressure was great! And the bathroom size is good. Note that the bathroom has frosted windows and is see through, it can be covered with curtains (from the outside). The rooms felt modern, wasn’t dated. Elevators only accessible by room key so is secured. Room was brightly lit and there is a small free bottle of water on arrival. Staff were friendly though check in was very slow. A shout out to Nadia at the bar would was very friendly and warm and helped me with some ice. The two downsides were that there was no fridge and no air cond. The climate control system is + or - 3 degrees but i didn’t feel it was working and the room can become a bit warm. The weather wasn’t too hot so I was fine but if you are staying during summer or winter, I would reconsider if the heat/cold bothers you. They also give you a voucher for a free small cup of coffee which was nice. It was good coffee too. Closest supermarket is the AH at the station (it’s a small one). If you want a full size there is also a jumbo near the station about a five minute walk from hotel. I would stay here again if it is not during summer or winter. It was a comfortable stay. Would love to see the hotel install a fridge for staying guests in the future, there is room for it in the cupboard.

The room was very clean and perfect for two folks who were mostly out and about. The breakfast downstairs was a very helpful way to start the day with some good, filling food. The staff were so helpful and the hotel is right next to the station and also many places to eat and go out. They made for a very easy stay where everything was as expected. Would recommend and would easily stay again!

We travelled to Amsterdam and chose this hotel because it's a short train ride to the city, and more affordable and quaint. The location was very convenient - a three minute walk from Leiden Central station. While the room was ready when we arrived, we were charged $10 euros/hour to access it early. I feel like this was a simple money grab, but we were happy to drop our bags off and explore the city! Our room was incredibly clean and spacious. While we didn't need the room cleaned while there, the team was great at making sure we had our coffee replenished. We were happy to see a windmill, immediately outside of our window. We were short walks to coffee shops, restaurants and a grocery store for supplies - although there was no fridge in the room (staff graciously gave us a jug of ice each night, either for drinks in the room, or to keep food chilled). I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Leiden or Amsterdam!!! Staff was super friendly and accommodating. We did not eat breakfast on site.

Great location - across from the train station. Room clean and well-maintained. Staff polite and helpful. Nearby tourist info useful for city trail maps and museum info. Breakfast buffet with a good range of nice cold and hot food (though the eggs and hot food could perhaps be kept hotter).

Great staff and conveniently located next to a Central Station. Have an amazing staff, comfy beds and everything you need within the walking distance. Will stay again if traveling through Leiden.

Was a lovely hotel. Nothing fancy but all the requirements were there. Staff was excellent. Front desk very helpful. Benza at breakfast was pleasant and attentive. Would stay again and other properties from same chain.
