It was a great property and in an excellent location to all of the museums and sights I was going to see. I did have a little trek from the tram stop to the hotel, I came from the main train station & took the tram. It is a very safe location too, my friend from the area confirmed for me. Room was clean & it does have air conditioning which is awesome.

Great location and remarkably quiet. The room wasn’t huge, but certainly big enough and had its own, well-appointed bathroom. Just blocks away from all the action, but just far enough away to feel more peaceful. Like a lot of accommodations in Amsterdam, take the stairs if you dare; I recommend the elevator!

We stayed in a 4 person family room and were so surprised it had a balcony view of the street. The staff was helpful, the rooms were well kept, and the location was great. Bathroom was much larger than other European hotels. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely hotel! The stairs going into the basement were super crazy, but that’s not unusual in that part of the world!

Great find, just as others had reviewed. Perfect central quiet neighborhood with plenty of restaurants, canal walks, close to museum square (walking 10-15 minutes to Rjikmuseum). Staff was very helpful and friendly - Farran especially! The comfort room was spacious by European guides. We didn’t pay for the breakfast but coffee, tea, water all available all day. Would stay again.

Excellent location! Kind and helpful staff! Rooms are on the small side but that's understandable being an older building, and shouldn't matter because you should be out and about exploring Amsterdam!

The hotel staff were very accommodating and kind. The location of the hotel was perfect, and if i come back to Amsterdam. I'm 100% coming back here. Extremely clean room , working a/c which was great as we went when the weather in Amsterdam was uncharacteristically hot
