This was my first ever sharing living space with multiple people. Honestly, it wasn’t bad. Had to the opportunity to meet people from all over the world. Flip side, there’s no privacy, however, it wasn’t a bad experience.

Easy walk from the train station. Hotel staff was beyond excellent! Busy part of town- don’t expect to sleep with the windows open! Loved it and will stay there again!!

The room I stayed in was a mix 8 bunk room. It was clean and safe. The staff was very friendly and helpful. “Tetris” Charlie did a lot to help me adjust my stay. For the price this was a wonderful stay. Easy to get around and right in the middle of everything.

Location is in the heart of all the hustle and bustle, minutes walk from most sites and attractions, including Centraal Station and various public transportation. The premium you pay is for location. Rooms are basic and humble. Common areas are great for socializing. In-house restaurant and bar are convenient. Staff is friendly.

Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt. Die eine Nacht war nett. Ich hatte nette Zimmernachbarn und das Zimmer an sich (4 Bett Zimmer) war auch gut. Nur die Wandbemalung hat mir persönlich nicht gefallen (eine Scene aus Psycho mit großen Gesichtern auf der Wand). Es gab metallene "Spinde" unter dem Bett um seine Sachen aufzubewahren und Schlösser konnten an der Rezeption für wenig Geld gekauft werden. Dies könnte auf der Website/Expedia Anzeige expliziter erwähnt werden. Das untere Stockwerk des Hostels ist ein Restaurant bzw. eine Sportsbar. Zudem ist es in einer bewegten und gut benutzten Straße gelegen. Das bedeutet zum einen, dass man viele soziale und kulinarische Möglichkeiten direkt nebenan hat, jedoch ist es dadurch auch etwas lauter ist. Durch die Hitze hatten wir das Fenster auf und die zahlreichen Sportschauer haben ab und zu Lärm gemacht. Darauf stellt man sich bei der Auswahl des Hostels jedoch ein oder bucht es genau aus diesem Grund. Sport wird im Bar-Raum zur Straße wie es scheint konstant übertragen. Das heißt, dass man sich jeder Zeit dazu setzen kann und Menschen treffen kann. Auch nach dem Check-Out. Ich war die einzige Frau im Zimmer. Durch meine netten Zimmernachbarn habe ich mich nicht bedroht gefühlt, kann aber nichts dazu sagen, ob bei unangenehmen Zimmernachbarn ein Umzug möglich gewesen wäre. Insgesamt ein schöner Aufenthalt obwohl das St Christophers für mich eine Notlösung war.
