It was a terrific day, and I greeted the lovely owners of this brand-new bed and breakfast when I arrived at the Lake Inn around 10 p.m. after a delayed trip to the Netherlands. I was given a very warm welcome, I was given a drink, so I chose the red wine, and I sat and chatted with the proprietors as if I were pals. Freshly baked croissants that were still warm from the oven were an absolute treat for breakfast. Orange juice freshly squeezed, tasty coffee, fruit, yogurt, and ham! They kindly cooked me some scrambled egg, but the bacon, which they got from their butchers, is even more unique! Because we adore bacon and eggs in England, they went above and beyond for me. The bed was like a cloud of dreams, and there were blackout blinds in the room, making sleeping very peaceful. Everything was ideal. The setting is peaceful, with a lot of wildlife and lovely flowers. I will return soon, hoping my company books me into the same hotel when I go on a business trip. The entire location is cozy, contemporary, and it's perfect because it's owned by the sweetest couple living out their dreams. Be back soon. Peace and love.

After a late trip to the Netherlands, I arrived at the lake inn around 10 p.m. to be greeted by the lovely proprietors of this new bed and breakfast. It was such a warm welcome, I was offered a drink I chose a red wine, and I sat and chatted with the owners as if I were close friends. Breakfast was an absolute delight, freshly baked croissants still warm from the oven. Freshly squeezed orange juice, tasty coffee, fruit, yogurt, and ham! They kindly made me some scrambled eggs, but the bacon they got from their butchers is even more special. As in England we love bacon and eggs, they went above and beyond for me. The bed was like a cloud of dreams, and the room had blackout blinds, which made sleeping so peaceful, everything was perfect. The area is peaceful, with lots of wildlife and beautiful flowers. I will 100% be back, hopefully my company book me into the same hotel when I come back for work. The entire location is friendly and modern, and the fact it's owned by the loveliest couple living out their dreams is ideal. Return soon. Peace and love.
