A good way to arrive in Auckland and spend a comfortable night. It had everythihn I needed except access to a restaurant, even one int eh area would be good. However, the room and staff met expectations and more and it is well priced.

The service I got as soon as I walked through the entrance was very pleasant and welcoming, even as I was checking out or waiting for my Uber driver.

i booked the shuttle at 2pm for me to be picked up at the domestic, the shuttle arrived at 1.55pm and the 2 gentlemen were wonderful, English r first language but they spoke excellent English, and were clear and precise. They were very professional. On entering the Hotel my details were taken and I was treated very kind and the gentleman was once again very professional, I was a bit annoyed at the female staff member who was having a huff about the 2 Asian ladies that were checking in at the same time as me for not having a credit card for security, she was moaning about them "In front of them" like they weren't there, she was really unprofessional. My family and I travel all the time and also at the last minute and I will from now on be using Airport Palms Hotel, I was so impressed (apart from the 1 female staff member) Ive stayed in some shocking places but this place was exceptionally clean, even though its an older Hotel, it had everything I needed it was well laid out and the bed was amazing, I had an excellent nights sleep. I ordered a meal to be brought to the room, and I was happy and very full, it was a very large dish of food. it was really good. and the service from the restaurant was great too. I had booked to catch the shuttle at 6.50am to the International and at 6.45am they rang the room to make sure I was all set to go and if I needed any help. AAA+++ If I was to add anything a designated smoking area out the back would be awesome. Thank You, Michelle
