Didn’t even need to leave the hotel for my wee break, had everything I needed- pool, spa, sauna, gym beautiful and very scenic walking tracks, food and drinks. Super friendly staff. The best wee break

We stayed here on Wed 27 May - Sat 30 May 2026. A family of 5 (Myself, hubby, 3 daughters aged 26,18 & 16). Firstly, Hilton QTN is like a maze, make sure someone can help show you to your room, we got lost trying to find it ourselves, luckily a cleaner helped us. We had the Hilton Lakeside 2bdrm suite (Room 102). 1 bdrm had a queen bed & the 2nd bdrm had x2 single beds. One of my daughters had to sleep on the couch (which was fine by her) plus State of Origin was on + she had the TV to herself haha. There was an option to add a fold out bed but that would've cost 60per night, so I passed on that! I did need to request more blankets for her even though there was a fireplace. The room had x2 ensuite bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen (which I didn't need to use cos we dined out most of the time). The room also had a laundry (washing machine & dryer) which was handy as I certainly made sure to use it every day. The view from our balcony looked over the Wakatipu lake & mountains - absolutely breath taking views everywhere!! Its actually impossible to take bad photos anywhere in this city. Parking is additional ($20 per night) make sure you pay this or you'll get stung with a parking bill like I did! The breakfast was delicious, thankfully we were able to take some with us on our excursions which saved us some $$. The pool & spa is fantastic after being out all day. Staff were soo helpful too. Overall a great place to stay, pricey, but great :)

Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is right on the lakefront with beautiful views. The breakfast buffet had lots of options for vegetarians as well.

We think the breakfast is okay. In the past, barista coffee was included but not in this trip. But the brewed coffee is so good. We didn't like the way they cooked the sunny side eggs because they tasted "plastic - ky" and the scrambled eggs looked dry. But on the brighter side, we thoroughly enjoyed dinner at the Wakatipu Drill - loved the prawns, fried chicken and salmon. Love the pool, spa but disappointed that the steam room was not working. Fabulous stay.

Good position. Lovely to have casual eating options as well as more formal/fulsome. Easy access to town by car (parking near $20 per day) or water taxi to Queenstown. Rooms and bed super comfy. Pool a bonus on a rainy day.

Hilton Queenstown is hands down the best place to stay in Queenstown and has been my all-time favourite for the last 15 years (since it opened) No matter the occasion—whether it’s a romantic getaway, a special celebration, or simply a relaxing escape—the team always goes above and beyond to make every stay feel perfect. The service is consistently outstanding, with friendly, professional staff who genuinely care about making guests feel welcome and looked after. The hotel has such a warm, cozy, and luxurious atmosphere. The rooms are beautiful, the surroundings are stunning, and the entire property feels like a true retreat from the moment you arrive. The breakfast is always fantastic, with a great selection and high-quality food that starts the day off perfectly. Every detail is thoughtfully considered, which is why I continue to return year after year. After 15 years of visiting, Hilton Queenstown still exceeds my expectations every time. It’s a place that never disappoints, and I couldn’t recommend it more highly. Always sad to check out and keep looking forward to my next stay there.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hilton Queenstown Resort & Spa. Brilliant location, right on the lake, and close to the airport, which was great for me. Beautifully maintained rooms, brilliant views of the lake and the mountains, great ammenities, great food, great staff! I'll be booking my next stay in Queenstown here again. I didn't dine in the restaurant or cafe downstairs, but did order room service several times, and the service and the meals were fantastic. Best Caesar salad and cheesecake I've had in a long time.

Had a great family holiday here. Pool is great and the 2 bed units are spacious. Had dinner at the onsite restaurant which was really good. Breakfast is a let down so would suggest skipping this and going to a cafe. Only other bad thing is the parking charge ($20 a day) when already paying a premium price and the hotel isn’t in town and plenty of space for parking.

Várias opções deliciosas no café da manhã, também! Conta com um serviço de táxi aquático pago que tem uma parada no hotel até o centro de Queenstown, cuja frequência é de hora em hora. Vale a pena utilizá-lo pelo passeio e pela rapidez do trajeto!
