Great value for money. Awesome location. Facilities are old and dated but certainly provided an authentic experience. Really appreciate the flexibility to check in late. Ideal if you are in transit after a hike and need a one night lay over.

The bed is very comfortable with a nice lake view. Wifi is fast! An interesting place, recently renovated. I love the new color, just makes me feel so happy with the cheerful colors in the hotel.

The location is strategic, with easy access and proximity to the lake. Grocery, cafe, laundry and cybercafe are all right below. Very convenient for students.

This hotel is situated within a small shopping mall. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are equipped with a water boiler, iron, ironing board, safe, chairs, fridge and desk. Towels and shampoo are provided. Guests do receive breakfast vouchers, which can be used at restaurants and cafes in the mall. If youre lucky, you can get a room with a view of taylors university and the lake in front of it.

Overall, it's a decent place to stay because it's cheap and you get what you pay for. Although it is an old villa and somewhat run-down, I believe it has new owners who are trying to rebuild it, so hopefully things get better from here. The damaged toilet seat was quickly replaced. Be aware that the 4-bed female dorm is actually 6 beds, and that 2 local workers are living there, so it is falsely described and packed. The beds are not particularly comfortable, and the toilets and showers are crammed into a single room, and it is unisex. I thought cleanliness was acceptable in this place. Housekeeping was mixed. For backpacker visitors, there is no parking in the grounds. Parking in the area can be a nightmare. It's probably entirely fine if you're on a tight budget. Try somewhere else if you enjoy a pleasant actor and are willing to spend town rates. The location is excellent, and we found it to be fairly quiet during our stay.

Stayed here for a 3D 2N event at taylors in march 2015. The room i stayed in had a great view of the campus and was relatively comfortable.
