It was perfect for what we needed, close to the Whangarei hospital. Great sized rooms and very clean for the age of this property. Amenities were all there in the room. We were in the roadside room and it was a little bit noisy but then we do live out in the country! Would definitely stay again. Thank you 🙂

Lovely hosts, made you feel very welcome and were very obliging in terms of changing our room so we had cooking facilities. Room was clean and comfortable. Happy to recommend. Close to Hospital and City.

A great overnight for a party of 6. We stayed in the 3 bedroom house on the property which was excellent, as well as being clean and comfortable. The beds were also really nice which is a bonus. One bathroom with a separate toilet which was helpful. I will definitely stay again and hopefully this time we will get to enjoy the pool & spa pool.

After the day we had sitting in the Whangarei hospital with our daughter who was in a major car accident, it was nice to have somewhere to lay a very heavy head and tired body. The unit we had was a 3 bedroom very clean and tidy unit which had all the creature comforts and a homely feeling. Was so nice to have a hot shower and sit on the private deck to watch the fireworks while collecting our thoughts. When I rang the Motel prior to our arrival to explain our situation,it was so nice to hear a kind reasurring voice on the other end of the phone. We have stayed in many motels and this one is staying on our list. When you are in Whangarei and need somewhere to stay, look no further then The Motel Villa Del Rio, you will not be disappointed.
