I often travel to Raylan, mostly on my own, and Sunset Motel is my go-to place for lodging. I don't worry looking at any other motels right now. It's a lovely facility that's fresh and clean, and I feel quite safe there. Shops and the beach are only a two-minute walk away. I can't wait to book my next trip! Julie.

We are at the beach and a great location, we will come back here again. After arriving here early, jo was very accommodating in letting us park the car until the room was ready. We had previously asked for a unit but we were given a new one. The rest of the staff are very polite.

Really nice and tidy motel in the center of Raylan Township, with comfortable beds, a huge modern bathroom, and a huge balcony with a table and chairs. We had a great time. I recommend looking for a room close to the reception to avoid any noise from the city during the busy season.

I would rate this place higher if they were fixed. The room and the location were great for the price we paid for, however, when I arrived in the bathroom, I saw hairs on the counter next to fresh clean towels. I love that the daily room service of fresh towels and dishes, it was what made a difference from my initial impression, but some of the new clean glasses had lipstick stains. I was reluctant to even use anything without sanitizing it with boiling water. I was also disturbed by a loud siren on the last night, which I quickly discovered to be the fire station. It would have been a good idea to include it in the welcome pack or warn us that this could happen. The rooms next to me were also confused about what it was like because they had never experienced before. This happened at the start and scared me the whole time I woke up. I thought it might have been the hotel fire alarm.

The place was clean and comfortable. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Left an item of clothing behind and retrieved it the next morning. The only disadvantage was the shower was over the bathtub and it was a bit difficult for us to get in and out as we are older.
