It was a pleasure to stay here, just what we needed after a day of biking. At the back is an actual old-school public bar, a massage chair is in the front, the entrance is attractive art deco, and the building is lovely. We had a small room with a mountain view and a tiny ensure but it was all we needed. The staff was friendly and the hotel manager was very helpful.

Our trip to the rail trail some years ago took us there on New Years Eve. We ate a decent meal in a great dining room. The eight of us staying the night enjoyed the upstairs lounge as a gathering place. We also bought wine there that we had purchased from their bottle shop before returning to our basic but suite-style rooms. The staff was lovely. They assisted us with our luggage and gave us a secure location for our bikes. The price for this hotel included a delicious continental breakfast.

After a long drive, I left for lunch. The setting is classically oldfashioned in an art deco manner. I went around and saw some people in the barrestaurant where I could order food and drinks. Not the most polite welcome or service but they did a good job. We changed our mind after receiving the food and drinks since the lady was much more approachable and friendly. There are some fantastic ecotech details, a few artwork and ornaments that were very attractive. There was plenty of food and it was acceptable. Very satisfied with the entire experience overall. If you are in the area, make sure to stop in.
