Very clean and very helpful hosts. Rooms we stayed in were compact and showed age; but when rooms and bathrooms are very clean and priced accordingly all is fine. restaurant at ski time next door is good and its only 10-15minute walk to Methven centre

Everything you require as a family. Included breakfast, spa pool, table tennis, and pool table for ski sessions that are canceled for a day. Staff friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but exactly what we needed. Shared coffee and tea are also available and a bar with a cozy fireplace. I will not be staying anywhere else. Don't hesitate to reserve. Ask about the fairy walk near the puke thermal pools.

In a twin share, we spent two nights here. Despite being tiny, the bathroom was amazingly adequate, and the room was particularly tiny but adequate. To have decent channels. The beds were single beds, yet they were exceptionally cozy and extremely warm, making us sleep with the window open during our late-winter vacation. The delicious free breakfast included the basic cereals, toast, drinks, coffee, orange juice, hot chocolate, and filtered water. The staff was very friendly, and Chai, the dog, was adorable. Although it was winter, the pool looked fantastic. Would return! Perfect for families and those on a tight budget.

We shared a twin-garage room, which was tidy and spotlessly clean! Jo is a helpful and pleasant host, and we were welcomed to a warm room because she had already turned on the heater! The continental breakfast is included in the price and is a tremendous plus! The lodge is cozy with two pellet fires, clean, tidy, and has fantastic amenities. We slept in one of those rooms after some areas were renovated. For supper, we brought takeaways to the lodge and were given plates, cutlery, and other items. It was like being in a home, we were really taken care of! The mountain view is also spectacular.

Since we couldn't drive south for two days due to the flooding, we decided to stay at this lodge. Jo, the manager, gave us a nice clean room and assurance. We had a great night's sleep, and Jo served us a delicious breakfast. The road between Hokitika and Franz Joseph was washed out. We had never been through methane before, and we had a great time.

Kami menghabiskan 4 malam di sini untuk belajar ski di restoran teman. Saya, suami, dan 3 anak mendapat 2 kamar yang terhubung. Tempat tidurnya nyaman dan kamarnya hangat membuat kami senang tinggal di sini. Pemilik penginapan juga sangat ramah dan baik hati. Pros room very clean and new bathroom Sheets very crisp Complimentary WiFi 1G Cons tea&coffee making facilities, hair dryer, bedside table, phone(for emergency) not available in the room Bathroom seriously small. Shower booth extremely small Shower head keep falling off due to water pressure Hand basin very small and there's no space to put your toiletries. I mean really no space at all Heater in the room very noisy and you could hear heater running next door as well No reception staff available It clearly says on the booking confirmation letter that after 8pm checkin is not available and you will have to check in the next morning No staff available Overall I felt that this place is over priced
