We had a wonderful time at flaming kiwi! Larissa and emilia are fantastic and always willing to assist with anything you need. The hostel atmosphere is like bringing amiable family together, we were always made to feel very welcome and included right away. Thank you so much for the best hostel in queenstown!.

The rooms cleanliness and functionality were commendable. The receptionist was amiable and accommodating throughout our stay. However, the kitchen facilities were not clean, and the bathroom facilities werent adequate for the number of guests using them. Additionally, we found the furniture to be wornout and unclean.

This place has a comfortable atmosphere, with plenty of common areas and wellequipped kitchens. Then, every bed had curtains, plugs, and lamps, so its like stepping into opulence. After, the workers were so warm and welcoming.

The receptionist, amelia, was outstanding. She provided excellent recommendations and was extremely helpful at checkin. This is why i rate the hostel five stars. The fridges get quite full, so the hotel itself does its job for the price. They could use more bathrooms because they were all equipped with charging ports and curtains. There were also lockers in the rooms for your belongings. Its worth noting that the location is about a 10minute drive from the city center, which is convenient because it is not worth dealing with traffic and parking.

I have a lot of good memories from here. Beds have their own outlets and lights. There are three kitchens, only one of them closes at night. Always someone to talk to in the lounge area. The best location of any hostel in town. A short walk to town but not so close it is noisy from partying and even closer to freshchoice, the cheapest grocery in city. Also not too far from queenstown hill. Wish i were still there.

This hostel is conveniently located near the town center and the market. It is only a short distance to attractions like the lake and gondola ride. The hostel offers affordable lodging. We spent two nights in the dorm, which is quite tidy and wellkept. Our stay was enjoyable, with plenty of toilets and good cleanliness throughout. Additionally, the kitchens provided excellent amenities, making it easy for us to utilize them. Overall, its primarily suited as if we were looking for dependable lodging in this area.

This hostel is very clean and comfortable. Andre at the front desk was very helpful with accommodation and recommendations for activities to do in town. There are two kitchens and a great lounge. Flaming kiwi is an excellent hostel.

The location is strategic, close to the city center. The receptionist is friendly and helpful. Clean bunk beds are provided and there will be people cleaning common areas every day. Overall good.

The only drawback was the constantly overcrowded kitchen and bathroom, which was a bit annoying but manageable. The receptionists were excellent, and we received everything we asked for. Excellent accommodations and bedrooms. There are tiny curtains for added seclusion on the beds in the dorm rooms.

Additionally, there is plenty of offstreet parking, which is incredibly convenient, but its only ten minutes walk from the cbd.

This hostel is excellent. The beds are incredibly comfortable, with charging stations and shelves on each bed. There are several kitchens and a lovely common area. Its nice that it isnt in the heart of the town center, so it can be quiet at night but still only 5 minutes from the supermarket. Parking is also free, although there aren't many spots, and its best if you have rented primarily based on your vehicle.

I spent more than a week there. The staff was friendly, the facilities were clean, and the kitchen was wellequipped for cooking. You can also have bbq as well. It was incredibly comfortable to stay here. There is plenty of space, making it easy to meet other backpackers. Overall, it was enjoyable to be here and i will definitely return.

The flaming kiwi is a lovely location. I had an amazing time during my three months there. The majority of the visitors stay at this tiny, operational hostel for definite periods. When it comes to engaging in conversation, the staff is friendly and helpful.

I would most certainly return. Everything a hostel should have. I stayed in an 8bed dorm with comfortable beds, cosy cubby style with good privacy, own lighting and charging ports, large storage underneath, lots of kitchen space, and i liked the communal room with board games, instruments, etc. Parking is available at around 10 spots on sight first come, first served. Personally, no issues were encountered. However, there are plenty of spaces with no time restrictions if you cant park directly at the hostel one street over. The only thing ive wanted to see is he small shelf next to the light / plugs (moreso for my glasses and phones), but thats merely nitpick.

We stayed in a double bedroom in the flaming kiwi for two nights. The room was clean and furnished in an modern manner. All the stuff and the only bird were very nice and friendly. What we didnt like that much was that even though everything was cleaned every morning, most of the kitchen utensils were still not really clean, neither was the fridge or the food storage area. However, im aware that it can only be as clean as some guests leave it.

The hostel is very welcoming. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Cooking is extremely relaxed and easy thanks to the three kitchens. Dorms and bathrooms are modern and comfortable, free bike rental is great, although the bikes are a bit outdated. Otherwise, the layout is tense at first.
