Came to Auckland for a concert. Tribe was walking distance from everything we needed, the rooms were quiet and peaceful, and everything was very clean. Check in and out were easy and pleasant. Didn't eat in the restaurant but had a couple of nice drinks, it's a great spot for people watching and planning your day.

This hotel was perfect for my work trip to Akl. It had blinds that blocked all light, a super comfy bed, great shower, and was really quiet - these are my must haves for work travel. In addition the location was great, staff were wonderful and the room was excellent. Will definitely stay here again.

This is the place to stay in Auckland. Its cool and well located to the water front where you will see restaurants galor. The rooms are terrific. The whole vibe id great!

Really enjoyed my stay at Tribe Hotel Auckland. Even though I booked the entry-level room (internal with no outside windows), it felt surprisingly bright, light, and airy — definitely not what I expected, in a good way. The room was super quiet and very comfortable, which made it easy to relax and sleep well. The shower was great, and I appreciated the little touches like the Nespresso machine and the selection of luxury teas. Overall, a stylish, comfortable stay that exceeded expectations. I’d happily stay here again.

The Tribe Hotel is great. It’s very modern, comfy beds, beautiful toiletries provided, the room cleaning service is spotless and the staff are all lovely and really helpful. We had a lovely stay in Auckland!

Designer feel rooms, stylish, comfortable and chic! Staff were super accommodating and friendly. Awesome cafe/restaurant at groud level. Fantastic location, super close close to Queen st and Wharf! Will come back!

Small, compact room where the space is extremely well considered. Lovely subtle - but - effective design flourishes, and simple gestures that mean the room is very useable and comfortable. Reminiscent of another of my favourite hotels - The Standard X in Fitzroy, Melbourne. It’s great to stay at a hotel where the amenities are well-considered, and the staff understand what hospitality is about. The service was friendly, warm and ver efficient. This is not an ‘overstuffed’ American-style hotel; rather it is compact, cool without trying too hard, and perfect for a few comfortable nights accomodation within easy striking distance to the cool places to check out.

Very clean and staff were very friendly. No onsite parking unfortunately but the open air carpark across the road was fine (despite its bad reviews).

This stay wasn’t as good as my last as this room didn’t have a seat and table. Had I known rooms of the same standard have different layouts, I would have asked for one with a seat and small table. This room was much smaller than last time and I wondered if I’d had a first time experience that wasn’t to be repeated.

The blind was not working hence there was a lot of Light and no privacy from the building across the street. The hotel was located next to a gentlemen’s club- brothel. A a woman travelling alone for business this was uncomfortable. Perhaps this could be mentioned. The room did not have a desk hence limitations for people travelling for business. If you a a male or a couple in the mid thirties wanting a place that is edgy this is suitable and probably worthy of the high ratings. If not … there are other places in downtown Auckland at that price point.
