I spent two nights in a deluxe double room with my girlfriend. Private toilet. The San Jasson waterfalls are also very close by, so we intended to stay in Madeira. We also went hiking on the island to the Oro de Agua and the volcano Mahas. The hostel is lovely and has a prime location on the lakeshore. The staff was extremely friendly. The rooms were spotless and tastefully furnished. The toilet was also simple and towels were provided. We could use the hostel's main kitchen, which was mostly clean and well-equipped. Scooters aren't particularly pleasant, but taking a scooter to the hostel from the street can be challenging. It shouldn't be a problem on foot, but because of the rocks and conditions, it must be driven reasonably confident. Otherwise, you have to carry the scooter all the way. The personnel was really untalkative and was unable to clarify what they offered to us. For instance, we didn't know that they offer a tasty pancake breakfast or supper if you wish, and that you could rent kayaks from the hostel.

Our host was kind and made sure we were comfortable. He upgraded us to the waterfront bungalow because the week we were there was slow. Our accommodation was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. The views are nothing to describe. We swam on the lake and had the most spectacular sunsets we had ever seen in the evenings. The familyhelp were all wonderful, kind, and accommodating to all of our requests. We had all of our meals there. Breakfast was provided and you could order whatever you wanted. The host was helpful in providing a guide for hiking the volcano and kayaking. Our guide ernesto was incredibly smart, kind, and helpful in every way. We love him! We enjoyed our stay and are already planning a return trip to this stunning, gorgeous island. Thankful we discovered this place!.

We stayed here for 4 days. Really great hostel on the beach that you can see the sunset and the volcano. The food was very good, especially the pancakes for breakfast and the pasta at night. Very friendly personal and very fast wifi. The private room is spacious and the bed is comfortable.
