As we were passing through on our way north to the helgeland coast, we stayed one night. The room was pleasant and quite roomy. The hotel provided breakfast service, and the buffet was adequate with a limited but excellent selection of breakfast items. Dinner was not served at the hotel. Because the restaurant menu in Erik is relatively limited, it would have been nice to have dinner at the hotel. We had supper at napalm pizzeria just a short walk down the street.

I spent the time at rrvikdagan, a major event that draws a lot of visitors from around the area. The location was thus very busy during our visit. The personnel is first of all excellent! When we requested a late checkout, they made quick and easy arrangements at no extra cost, and they were extremely courteous. The room was comfortable. Although we had a room in the new wing, the older sections of the hotel also looked appealing. They provide a bar with inside and outside seating, and the breakfast spread was adequate. The price is a drawback here. The room appeared a little overpriced for what you get, but the bar pricing really trampled on me. Even for norway, 95 non for a can of beer is far too expensive. Find a different location if you are thirsty.

It is one of the best scenic areas in Norway, the villa and try area. Hotel Erik with good location, friendly staff and good rooms. Ive stayed there several times during my job and over time we discover the warm atmosphere this hotel offers. Breakfast is simple but includes all you need. The rooms were new and fresh and the public areas were good enough. There are two restaurants and a pub in the middle of the city, both within walking distance.
