Our time at scandics around was really enjoyable. The ladies and gentlemen at the front desk were very pleasant. The hotel is in a quiet area but still very central. I've stayed in scandic hotels many times and always had a great experience. Breakfast buffet is always a highlight which is one of the main reasons I often choose scandics, generally quite a variety of foods for those with intolerances. For example, about four different types of plant-based milk. This time I had to leave before breakfast time so I really liked the option to have breakfast to go because I had a very early flight.

I don't recommend this hotel to anybody. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with a lovely harbour view. Good variety of breakfast options even for vegetarians.

Three nights, two adults and two children remained in room 218 in this hotel. The hotel room was fairly large and there was relatively little room for the suitcases. There was also a lot of space in the toilet to organize one's stuff there. The cleaning had been well done. The sound insulation was excellent. The shower worked well, but there was nowhere to store one's soap, and there was a window between the shower room and the main room. One of our teenagers found this troubling, albeit the window was shaded, and although it was still possible to sort of see through it. We resolved the issue by covering the window with plastic bags taped in place, which worked well. The service was good, and the front desk staff was helpful. The location was great, it was close to the center and there were several restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel room's breakfast was pretty nice, with a wide selection. Fortunately, the room had a french balcony, and we slept there with the balcony door open, which was helpful. Because of the open balcony, the room was generally not very peaceful in the evening it was on the first level and people were walking past the open door for most of the evening and night. Fortunately, the breakfast hours were well planned, and it was helpful. I do not know how the other hotel guests managed to sleep there if
