Typical backpacker hostel. Good atmosphere and friendly owner. Its one of those stops you can make when you are tired and want to save money. For the price you pay, you cant really expect perfect comfort. Additionally, for the entire camping, the dorms are next to the living area. So, you sleep when youre last going to bed and wake up when youre first pal goes to bed. There were two showers, one of which was dirty and the only one that had hot water. Also, many campers use the shower in our dorm, so if anyone walks in and your room without a place to store their belongings, it will be difficult. Somethings just cant be changed, but you could consider building a different cosy spot to chill out late at night and early in the morning. Extra showers and lockers would be a lot of difference. We were looking for a campsite at a good price and found the ideal place at La Casa de Juan. They were warm and helpful with all our inquiries. The guys. It's close to the jailhouse, there is a grassy campground where you can set up your tent or take one if you don't have one. We could use the kitchen and bathroom amenities. Everything was clean and well equipped. We had a relaxing and calm stay because it wasn't very crowded when we stayed there. There are also 3 dogs and a curious cat, which is close to the most attractions and a short walk from the local fruit merced. They also have dorms and private rooms. We liked the hostel's friendly atmosphere. Would most definitely stay here again.

There are no cheap hostels in Val de Anton, but this one is the greatest value you will find. The atmosphere is cute, it is a typical backpacker hostel and the people we met there and the staff were all very nice and helpful with suggestions for things to do. Our room was a decent size, but as we were in the back of the property, neither the wifi nor the hot water reached our room, which was rather disappointing given the price we paid. In either case, the property cats were really cute and they served coffee in the morning, so I would still recommend this, but maybe not our particular room.

The only thing that you can expect from a hostel that provides affordable rate, good atmosphere, and friendly staff, and decent kitchen, even though it's a little out of town but worth it because it's secure and well lit. Bed is also nice.
