I'm not really sure what it's like here because I stayed at a basic, clean and no frills hotel. For me it serves its purpose because I only need a clean place to sleep and take a shower. Friendly staff and excellent location. The bed was very hard. If it wasn't for the hotel, it wouldn't have received a five-star rating.

I stayed here for about a week. Close to many small cafes and restaurants. About 30 minutes walk to Agenda Balboa. A 5 uber ride to most locations like Cisco Vijo, Amador Causeway or Bus Station. The stay was pleasant and the room was very basic. Will stay again. I loved Panama City.

Safe place to stay at a reasonable price. Families and solo travelers visit the restaurant for meals at reasonable prices. Not modern, not fancy. Take a trip back in time for conservative family values in a business environment.

In short, it is a place I suggest you go to because of these flaws. I stayed at marcella for a week and I can tell you that this hotel has positive aspects, staff, and is a comfortable place. But the wifi is not worth it since breakfast is limited, there is old air conditioning and the power outlet can be more conveniently located.

I spent a few nights at Hotel Marco on my way back to England during the Couid 19 lockdown and was very impressed. It has good value and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was pleasant and clean, I appreciated the decent sized desk and good wifi to complete my arrangements. It was a nice touch that the staff refilled jugs of iced drinking water on request. The bed was comfortable and the cable worked well. Although nothing was open at the time I visited, theres a mall and many restaurants nearby that serve takeaway during lockdown and the hotel itself has a decent restaurant. They also arranged a shared taxi for me and another person to the airport for a good price.
