My first time staying in Casa Bella, but not this time. Our room was spacious, the hotel was in a nice location, and breakfast was enough. But the service was what really captivated me. The front desk staff, including Felicia, and others couldn't have been more helpful. I will be staying here on my next trip to Lima.

We only stayed one night but were very pleased with our choice of hotel. Communication prior to arrival was very good, on our request they booked an airport transfer which saved a lot of hassle. Our room was on the ground floor of the main house, it was large, well furnished, and the beds were very comfortable. Our only complaint was that the water was lovely and hot but the shower was dated. Breakfast in the morning was very good and the whole staff was very helpful.

Casa Bella is a charming boutique hotel that is quiet and tranquil and conveniently located in a secure residential area in San Siro, near stores and shops and business. Excellent value. Both tourists and businesspeople are on vacation. Casa Bella was the ideal home away from home for us. During our weeklong vacation, we stayed here three times. We returned and were able to leave our large suitcase in storage while traveling north and south of Lima. Each time, it felt like coming home. The rooms are very varied, garden rooms, etc., and roomy. We twice received a free upgrade to a suite. Breakfast was excellent, with cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, juice, bread, and eggs. The staff was very polite and went out of their way to assist, they were very efficient, and pleasant. A wonderful location! We had a great time and plan to return!.

There will be no one coming back to this hotel! The hotel is located in a really nice upscale neighborhood that is a pleasure to stroll around. The room was comfortable and spacious. Now, the drawbacks. Breakfast is very basic and there is no free water in the room. But these are minor things, and what ruined our impression was the payment policy, which is extremely inconvenient and fishy. The hotel has prices listed in dollars and the payment policy states that you can pay in dollars or in soles and credit cards are accepted, but if you pay in soles their own conversion rate, which is nowhere near the bank rate, is applied. When I tried to pay with my credit card in usd, they charged it in soles without letting me know it using their own conversion rate. According to hotel staff, they do not have the means to charge the card in dollars, which is unclear from the letter they sent to you prior to arrival. So, I lost my money on double conversion and paid approximately 5 more than the actual rate stated on the invoice. To be honest, it wasn't the amount of money I lost, but the way the hotel conducts business has embarrassed me the most.

Thanks to it's proximity and convenience, Cisco's travel agency recommended this hotel. Small hotel primarily visited by Peruvians, with a large, common breakfast table for all guests. Although in need of some updating, the rooms and furnishings are quite eclectic. We visited in August when the temperatures were quite cold, but our room didn't appear to have any heating, probably I was just ignoring it. The employees are professional, and I would certainly stay here again.
