Our three nights were unquestionably all we could have hoped for. We just relaxed and reveled in the opulent atmosphere of the island as we continued the rest. There were only two other visitors, two of which were also companions, so my wife and I took extended walks and many pictures. The cuisine was excellent and plentiful. Every morning, we went snorkeling and observed a variety of gorgeous fish. The island is truly unique.

I really did escape.. I really enjoyed the privacy and quiet I was seeking. It is far enough away from the world to be away from it but close enough to get back in 25 minutes by quick boat ride. The food was amazing. All varieties of fish, vegetables and fruits from the neighborhood. The island is small enough to walk in for 15 minutes on your own, but big enough to get away from everyone and be yourself. I ate in a different location for each meal! One of the best parts was the staff's attention to detail. I was blown away by how kind and accommodating everyone was to my family. I also enjoyed fishing off the floating barge. Unfortunately, it was the time of year for jellyfish and we couldn't swim, but I saw thousands of small fish swimming around! I did catch some fish! We finished it off by releasing baby turtles back into the sea! What a great way to connect with nature, especially for the kids! Again, I enjoyed my stay and can't wait to bring more family back!.

I spent three nights at Arena Island. First and foremost, I have to say that the name from which the island was formed can be quite misleading. Arena, in Filipino, marina or flour, was meant to describe the fine white sand on the island. There isn't fine white sand. Ive never read a review stating so. When I arrived, this was my biggest letdown. I therefore thought Id make sure I left a review so I could set the right expectations. Once I can get that out of the way, the island does have many appealing qualities. It is peaceful, distant, and can be quite private. The food arrives like clockwork. Yes, you would think it's nothing special. It doesn't taste like restaurant food at all. In that sense, I really liked it. It appeared to be the type of food you get when you visit a friend's house. We attempted to go diving, but the weather only let us go. That was fantastic, really. I hope that this turtle can come out in the wild. As youve read in other reviews, you get a butler. We didn't get a briefing when we got to the island, but we didn't get to ask. I understand this doesn't sound really appealing, but I did enjoy my time here. The island is large enough, and because the staff is friendly and helpful, you can spend days here without meeting other people. The staff is pleasant and helpful, and they provide well-maintained facilities. This location is really well worth your vacation time. When turtles lay their eggs or release newly hatched turtles during the turtle season.

The only negative thing about this place is the coral reef that has been attacked by dynamite fishing and we only got the opportunity to release the baby sea turtles and that was great! And then, the environment here was so peaceful with only 5 rooms. Subsequently, the employees and meals were so good and the decor was so old.
