We decided to spend our new year's Eve at Casita Isabel as we wanted to experience new years Eve on the beach. We had fun because the owners family was also there to celebrate it with us. Dinner was quiet, then just watched the fireworks on the beach. The place is ok for animals. They have a beach front. Expect a beach with corals and rocks because animal is not a sandy beach. Really ideal for diving. The area is quiet, the rooms are ok. The price is reasonable. What I didn't like was the food. They only serve a set meal. Nothing great about the food. I also suggest that the resort have a mini store where guests can buy basic stuff like soap, toothbrushes, sun block, etc. And improve the menu. The owner is very accommodating and nice. Staff are friendly and quick.

The villa we stayed in was directly on the beach. Contrarily to the photos, it was even more stunning. Excellent affordable food is prepared home. This is the perfect place to be if you enjoy snorkeling but can't be bothered to travel to remote locations! The marine life underwater is beautiful and vibrant. We made a boat because we wanted to swim, and it transported us to a remote island with white sand and crystal blue waters. The boatmen stayed with us while we wished to depart and return to the resort. This location is stunning and reasonably priced. Without a doubt, I'll travel back and share it with friends and family.

After looking through positive evaluations of the hotel and location, we spent two nights at Castia Isabel after our trip. However, I must admit that I have never had a more mixed feeling about a location than what we experienced here. A location with so much potential but appears to have been hampered by times and the recent influx of visitors. On the one hand, the setting was ideal, the snorkeling and island hopping was dreamy and all to ourselves, and we also discovered turtles and sharks among the various hues of vibrant coral and fishes. We loved spending time relaxing and reading by the ocean, kayaking, and even our rooms view of the sea among the tall trees was a joy. Everything had to be ideal. The hotel management and employees, on the other hand, were the most disappointing event. We were the only guests there, and I'm not even sure when someone last checked. The staff, which consists of two mothers carrying their kids around and a few others who all reside on site, appeared to be astonished and uninformed about what to do with us, and if there was anything else to assist, they barely spoke English. They made us feel as though they were doing us a favor by appearing there. The lack of customers probably contributed to the hotel's poor food and drink, resulting in a threecourse meal that consisted of simple
