A wonderful trip for both families and honeymooners. The resort is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly kind and accommodating. I will most certainly return to this resort. Its unfortunate that our flight was delayed, i could have gone for their spa massage.4,8/518 Apr 2024

Our wedding anniversary celebration on miniloc island was truly unforgettable. The private dinner prepared by the Pier was a delightful experience. The resort itself is a pearl in the ocean and occupies the most popular destination in pawan. We spent ten nights here. At first, we didnt get greeted with eulogy, and i wasnt happy with the reason they gave me. Due to typhoon, there were no trips for the next two days, so we had to dine in front of the restaurant constantly. The cuisine was always delicious. It was an allyoucaneat buffet. Every meal was like our last. Restaurant service was quick and passionate. Jessi in particular deserves our gratitude! His attitude was amazing and heartily. After that, after we extended our stay for an additional two nights, an unexpectedly loud wedding group arrived and nearly destroyed our time here because they were constantly screaming and loud. While the reception promised to make sure they wouldnt disturb us, they failed. Nevertheless, the tour was fantastic during our extension. Andy and the captain literally babied us and made sure we were completely safe. Just book the resort for their wonderful crew members will be worthwhile. Walking right infront of it was enjoyable even when we werent available due to the cyclone. Most of times, water is not hot. Housekeeping may occasionally leave broomsticks behind. Although ive only wished they had been oblivious, this doesnt affect my love for this resort!.4,8/514 Jul 2023

The rooms offer a breathtaking view, and the beaches are impeccably clean. The beaches provide pristine conditions for snorkeling and diving, making them incredibly worthwhile excursions. Both the room and service were impolite, providing excellent service throughout our stay. Additionally, the cuisine was delicious. I wholeheartedly endorse El Nido Resorts experience.4,8/58 Jul 2023

We had the good fortune to receive a beachfront view room at miniloc island resort after enduring dreadful experiences at matinloc resort. The resort was not only extremely accommodating, but it was also stunning inside and out, updated, and immaculate. There were many visitors who were having sex and smiling, as well as incredibly kind and attentive staff. Most excursions and meals are included in the daily rate, unlike at the awful matilloc retreat. Both the bar and the food were excellent and fresh. I could go on and on about how amazing minil is, my husband and i will undoubtedly return. Thank you to benjie, our excursion guide, who guided us on the finest island tours and to janniel, one of the barstenders there, for being so entertaining to talk to and making us delicious drinks. Our trip to panawan was saved by staying at minimloc! Trust me when ive been reading this while comparing resorts, dont stay at minin loc resort, because some people get confused. Amazing resort. From the way they pick you up at the airport and speed boat you to the place, to their level of service when relaxing and the quality of the tours (all included in the price!). The island is next to most of El Nidos main attractions, so you can reach them earlier or stay later than mainland guests can. I also recommend scuba diving, where the fish you see under the water near the resort are out of this world.4,6/515 Jul 2024

The management and staff are grateful for the obvious concern of management to protect the environment, the wellorganized activities, which included serving food that offered options for a wellbalanced diet, and the clearly organized program of activities. Sir Oliver deserves special recognition for making our stay so enjoyable and assigning the best tour guide, sir Andy, who speaks english fluently and clearly. Under his professional guidance, we all felt secure and at ease. Thank you to the entire restaurant crew, from the hall staff to all the kitchen staff and chefs, it truly is worldclass! We appreciate the miniloc band, they touched our hearts and made us want to return. The resort is immaculate. All the happy staffs harmonious relationships were evident in their services. I am very confused about how many stars this hotel gives. The location is great, the amenities are very average, but the service is good and everyone is very nice. We chose the resort for our honeymoon and we expected a little more especially for the price you pay (in the Philippines you can find better luxury places for fewer than the cost of living). The room was small, especially the bathroom, pool itself it wasnt exceptional and the food buffet was nothing special. Also, we asked to arrange supper for two people for an additional fee and were served the same buffet food but already placed as if it werent and they just told us when we inquired about the menu that it was he had chosen the chef. Not cool. On the plus side, activities are included are many and guides are extremely nice and helpful, so we really recommend them! Overall, our recommendation is to choose this place for activities rather than for its charm.4,6/56 Jun 2023

Miniloc island resort was a fantastic experience for me and my fiance. The hotels location is ideal, its close to the small and large lagoon, which allowed us to visit these lovely locations without having to take long tours. Facilities were very comfortable and clean, and the food was excellent as well, with different options each day. Staff were extremely kind and friendly. Our tour guide, benjie, was very nice, leading us into really impressive places without rush and also taking lots of beautiful pictures for us. The hotel is very beautiful and very comfortable. They offer good activities during the day, although they could last longer (only from 8 am to 11 am). This place was fantastic and amazing, highly recommended to anyone looking for a special experience. Miniloc resort has solitary advantage that no other hotels or resorts in el nido have, as many of the major attractions are situated on the same island. Because of this, the staff can schedule trips early in the morning, giving their guests the advantage of seeing all of these beautiful locations almost privately with no tourists around. This alone is worth staying at miniloc. Its also great that they utilize other hotel chains in their daily trips, so guests can experience other locations.4,4/511 Apr 2024

We stayed for four nights in the first half of 2023. Excellent stay, extremely friendly and helpful service, idyllic setting tucked away next to a large and small lagoon. Right in front of the resort, the waters are full of marine life (we saw turtles, octopus, fish, reef sharks and hundreds of other species of fish). The excursions are wellorganized and have excellent guides. The rooms are comparatively small and not up to the best resorts in Thailand, but the service and natural surroundings more than make up for it.4,4/511 Mar 2024

I stayed here as part of a swim group. The location is stunning, absolutely beautiful. It looks unreal in the photos, but the pictures dont even do it justice! Extremely clean and well run. Service is amazing- such friendly, happy staff who go out of their way to meet your needs and make your stay comfortable. Include singing you on and off the island, which is an absolute highlight! As i am vegetarian, there isnt much you can eat at the buffet, however, if you ask, the chefs are very accommodating and will make you something to suit you at no extra cost. If there are two of you, these rooms are not particularly large, yet they certainly have everything you need. I would also be aware that this is secluded ive been swimming with gangs for ages, so there was plenty to do. But unless he wasnt, activities at resort include snorkeling trips, paddle kayaking, and massages, all at an additional cost). However, it is not close to towns or street markets, etc. For those who enjoy beachside or poolside vacations like me, its ideally situated. Overall, great place with amazing people!
