We called ahead after booking to inform the front desk of our expected 4:30 AM arrival from coming off the ferry from Cebu. We were happy to see someone present to check us in upon our arrival. Parking was on the street adjacent to the hotel with only a few spots available. Check-in was fast and we were told check-out was 1:00 pm. I think the hotel allowed us an extra hour due to our late check-in. Our room was on the 5th floor and not far from the elevator. The hotel presented very well. Everything was clean with no worn or damaged surfaces or finishes. The room was small as was the bathroom. I saw no sign of dirt or wear anywhere. The aircon comfortably cooled the room comfortably. By morning some noise from the street could be heard in the room but at a level one would expect being located in any downtown. As explained in the room description there was no refrigerator in the room. Check-out took no more than a minute and, as expected, our vehicle was just as we left it and we were ready to visit Ormoc's market.

IA Lodge is located very close to the ferry terminal. Just a 2-3 min. walk. Executive room is fairly large, clean and basic. Shower pressure is okay, but they need to clean or replace the showerhead. There is hot water with waterheater. Toilet was clean and flush working. Wifi needs improvment. Signal is very bad. Maybe because of the concrete in the building? But have stayed at IA for several years and the main problem is always the wifi. Why have they still not adressed the issue? Tv with channels and you can rent a mini fridge for 100 PHP a night. Although the fridge really need to be cleaned. No restaurant but no need sorry since there are a lot of food options just outside or nearby. McD is right next door. The seafront plaza is also just a 2-3 min walk.

The location is good since it is near the port and other shops and easy to get transport. The room we had have a bit of a smell in it but otherwise it’s good.

Bathroom is complete with sink and mirror. The toilet works with flush. The shower has cold and heat. Our room is very comfy it is so easy to sleep. The space is just fine. The staff is a bit impolite and not very accommodating or welcoming. Overall the experience is satisfying
