Clean and convenient to guests, there's a convenience store and restaurant on the ground floor. Will definitely stay here again!

We only stayed 1 night at the Waverley. The staff was amazing and very helpful. The included breakfast was also excellent. It was a no frills room, but we didn't mind that we didn't go away to sit in our room so long as it has a bed and shower that's all it needs, the drinks down at the bar are very well priced, if we were to go back, we would stay there again.

Don't expect 4 stars for the price you pay. The rooms were a bit dated with no double glazing. Wallpaper not stuck in places but very clean with what looked like brand new bedding. The bed was a bit soft to my liking but comfortable. There was no kettle in the room which was disappointing as I had brought my own coffee sachets. The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was of good quality and plentiful our daughter was vegetarian and they adapted to her needs. A cheap place to stay in the lake district, but nothing to do there and just takeaways in the evening. Would happily stay again for that price.
