Given the mixed reviews, I would say we had very low expectations at first. However, we were incredibly pleased with the service, the accomodation, and the location. We arrived during peak Halloween period, so during check in, there was a small delay due to influx of tourists checking in at the same time. Since we were a family who booked 2 rooms, the manager was kind enough to offer us an upgrade to their 2 bedroom apartment suite. Mind you, we were given a chance to check the room first before we accept the offer. For the 5 days we stayed there, all the staff were friendly and courteous. The breakfast and dinner buffet were average, but enough to fill you up. Location is its main draw, since it is in the middle of everything. However, be prepared for the flow of tourists staying at the hotel. All in all, it was a great stay and great value for money. Just don't expect 5 star services when you are paying a fraction of the cost. Room tips: Request for a room far from the restaurants, preferably 3rd floor and up. Room cleaning is as per request, better leave the key when going out and they will clean it promptly. Be kind to staff, they try their best to accomodate everyone even if they are under staffed. Who knows what perks they may provide you if you are nice to them (Buffet vouchers, Room upgrades).

Superb stay! We were actually booked for two separate rooms but staff offered a big room that fits our entire family. Yehey! Thumbs up for the room upgrade and for a no-cost early check-in request.
