Basic hotel in the Redone Beach neighborhood with free parking. The rooms are a little run down. The receptionist was very friendly. The bed wasn't too bad. The whole place is a little run down but I feel safe.

The location is very strategic because close to the beach and a lot of restaurants. The staff is quite friendly and helpful, and even the bathroom was very clean.

Overall a very pleasant stay. I found the lodging to be simple and affordable, with no luxury or extravagant amenities, albeit it met our needs for the night. I didn't find a coffee machine or a continental breakfast. They helped us get home late, they have adequate parking.

Because of its strategic location, close proximity to lax, quick access to parking, wifi, convenient to the beach, and a nice area, I stayed here. If you look at this price range, you are comparing it to a private room in a hostel and are not expecting anything luxurious. Therefore, stay somewhere that's reasonably priced and in a good location. If the stranges of an old motel bother you, go here. The room was spotless. And most importantly, Kevin graciously welcomed me warmly. I wouldn't stay here again purely on the quality of his hospitality and location.

This seems like one of those shady motels where vagrants may stay. And perhaps it is. However, it's not that bad, and I actually enjoyed my stay here, especially considering the location and price. It's a minute's walk to the lovely redone beach, where you can walk along the strand or lounge on the sand. The Redone pier is also 20 minutes away from here, or Vivian Village can be reached by foot in 20 minutes from there. There are several other restaurants and retail stores close by. Although the beds are comfy, there is a fridge and microwave, and they have direct internet and direct WiFi. Hotels in this area are pricey, and the moonlit inn is a great value in the area.
