When you check in, the hotel requested a deposit of 10,000 peso or by credit card. I asked if I could leave USD with them, and the hotel refused it. For those who do not have a credit card and stay for a short term, they will have to change from USD to peso and change again when they leave the Philippines. This comes with a cost, in term of money and time. Perhaps, this policy should be clearly stated in hotel advertisement, so that I can chose another hotel that do not require it. Otherwise, the hotel is very clean, staff members are good, and the breakfasts and outdoor pool are fine.

We stayed at six different hotels during our Philippines holiday, and Lanson Place was our fifth stop. I am so glad I upgraded to a Junior Suite here—the room was perfect, big, spacious, and featured a beautiful view of the seaside. Apart from a minor leak in the bedroom from the rain (which the duty manager handled with a complimentary fruit platter since the hotel was at full capacity) and some ground-level noise that luckily wrapped up by 10 PM, the stay was excellent. The absolute highlight of this hotel is the staff. At reception, Toffee was incredibly friendly with a great sense of humour; he remembered my name and was so sweet to apologize for forgetting our lounge access. Also Jonathan & our room attendant (whose name I sadly missed) was also fantastic, keeping everything spotless and always supplying whatever we required. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety—I especially loved the traditional taho every morning! My only critique is that it would be nice to have a dedicated vegan section; soy milk wasn’t always available. However, the breakfast staff were highly attentive, especially the F&B Manager, Laura. She was an absolute delight greeting every guest with an infectious smile. She has exactly the kind of warmth and leadership you want to see at a hotel reception or management. The rooftop pool offers gorgeous views. The lounge was a bit too cold,food was OK. Combined with the proximity to the Mall of Asia, this hotel was a standout favorite for us.

The staff were all courteous, polite and very professional. That is from the security guard up to the concierges. I did have some slight issues with the check in but they were able to resolve the matter responsively. They went above and beyond the service and I would absolutely recommend this hotel to my family members and friends. The stay overall was 10/10!

No doubt the best hotel we’ve stayed in Manila by far, and one of the top hotels I’ve stayed at on all my travels internationally. Definitely 10/10. The reason why I booked it was because we were after a clean, modern looking and a “new” hotel to stay at. And the pictures did not lie. The location is very convenient and the food was great. Wide variety of dishes during the buffet breakfast and the a la carte dinner portions were massive. But the number one reason why we loved it so much, was the amazing staff and service provided during all our interactions. From the security guards and all the lobby/concierge staff, the restaurant staff and the ones we met at Club Lanson. Each interaction was pleasant and they have amazing communication between departments. One minute we’d be inquiring about dinner reservations at another department, and when we got back to our room, we get a call from someone assisting us with our booking. They went above and beyond to accommodate us. Especially when I informed them we were celebrating a special occasion, they upgraded our room, decorated it and even had a cake and a few of their staff sing happy birthday to us. Very unforgettable and will definitely be recommending this to all my friends and family looking to visit the Philippines. Can’t wait to come back to stay during my visits to Manila. Wonderful staff, thank you so much for making our stay as lovely as it was!

Our stay at Lanson Place Mall of Asia was short, but excellent as always. First of all, the luxury and overall experience are one of the main reasons why I love staying at this hotel. Everything is consistently well-maintained and spot on. The room was very clean, and the staff were incredibly polite, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. One of the biggest reasons why I keep coming back is their food—especially the breakfast buffet. The breakfast buffet has a really great selection, with plenty of delicious options to choose from, and it definitely stands out compared to other hotels. It’s honestly one of my favorite parts of staying here. The amenities were also great, and the location is very convenient—just walking distance to SM Mall of Asia. This hotel continues to maintain a very high standard every time we visit.

I frequently travel thru Manila and I always stay at Lanson Place, when rooms are available. The concierge is always accommodating at picking me up at NAIA and bringing me to the hotel and back to the airport when it is time for me to leave. The front desk attendants are always polite and greet me with a smile. The hotel is a class 5* property in a perfect location adjacent to Mall Of Asia and lots of lovely restaurants. We stayed in a fabulous junior suite with amazing views. The staff couldn’t do enough with a shout out to Mark, Concierge Desk who was outstanding. The breakfast was amazing. The only slight criticism was that the outside pool was too cold.
