I'd like to Thank the staff from ate the Manager to Receptionist, the two guards who were helpful, the cook and ate who's signed in the kitchen, the boy cleaning my room. I was comfortable with my stay and at home. It was net St. Luke's Clinic the reason I stayed there. For sure I'll be back.

Excellent place to stay on a budget. You'll love the old world charm. WiFi tends to go off and on during certain times of the day. (Gread internet cafe directly across the street called Koreagate). Staff are extremely courteous and friendly. Hightly recommended!

It was great the staff is great. plenty of tv channels, nice air conditioning very close to Robinsons mall, the beach the US embassy as well as Star City and the Mall of Asia.

An old hotel with a good Location in Malate. We choose a fan room, and the only problem we had, was that the fan was attached to the ceiling and was not pointing on our bed so at night was really difficult to sleep because of the hot weather. We always book fan rooms in the Philippines but never had this problem before. So we contacted the reception at night and they solved our problem in a second by provinding us a stand fan. The service is good, our problem was solved in 1 minute and the location is great. Maybe I will suggest to choose an aircon room in this particular hotel

Our stay has been very good except on the AC which took a little longer to make the room cold enough. The wood flooring is quite a surprise never thought of that! The Wooden furnitures all around the place are quite spooky but they add nice experience to us! The Toilet bowls smell a bit of urine although clean to look at, think it needs some bleaching. The staffs are amazing very accomodating! Thanks!

The hotel is spacious, old, and stunning. We were in Manila quite early, and they graciously arranged an airport transfer for us for 800 php and let us check in before the normal time, which was greatly appreciated. The building is large, ancient, and beautiful. If you're out and about and just need to get your head down, the rooms are very basic but adequate. To in our apartment didn't work, but we didn't mind that if you do like to indulge and spend time in your room, it doesn't give you much tolerance for sales and bad reception. Air conditioning is old-fashioned, effective, and noisy, but it was impossible to hear through earplugs. For the last night, we switched to a fan room, which was better value for the money and, minus these two appliances, we couldn't hear anything outside on the main road because sunday is more active than most days, and we were on the opposite side of the building, so simply keep this in mind. Additionally, due to the constant hallway lights, a beam enters from above your bedroom door at night, and the drapes are gray, so you won't find it here. Breakfast is reasonable value for money, and the staff is helpful, I think it's good for a night or two for budget travelers and those who rise with the sun!.

The hotel staff are friendly and don't give anything to make you feel uncomfortable, however, we booked a double room with a bathroom, then we get a twin room with a good location, plus a bellman didn't come because the hotel has a large size. The room is extremely uncomfortable because they don't have a bathroom, so we can't use the AC because it is built in 1950 s. I can feel the noises being made by the wooden frame, especially in the air conditioner because it's so noisy, plus there are pillows and shower towels that seem old, the shared bathroom is dark, the water is very cold, and you can find the dark water and it makes you uncomfortable. This old building makes me can't have a pleasant experience, it's a very bad experience.

Ive stayed four times now and am still a satisfied visitor at Palate Pensione when I visit Manila. Palate Pensione is an old building that was converted into a hotel in palate, Manila. The good news about this place is that it is readily accessible to some of Manilas most famous landmarks. Rival Park, Star City, Instramuros, National Museum, and Ocean Park are all just a short jeepney ride away. Apart from its accessibility, its affordability of room rates is one of the reasons why I always choose to stay here whenever I visit Manila. This location is ideal for those who are not too picky when it comes to hotels and just backpacking.
