In general, it's a fantastic hotel to stay, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. As we were touring this gorgeous district of the Philippines, we spent three nights here. The bed was comfy, with satellite to, cold air conditioning, a hot shower in the shower, and a fridge. The staff was excellent, especially the proprietor, colin. The restaurant offers a broad selection of both traditional and Western cuisine, and I particularly liked the beef caldera with rice and the full English breakfast fryup, something I had missed since leaving England, sad maybe but true.

We spent two nights at the Western Highway Lodge while exploring the area, and we were very satisfied. The meals were delicious, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff was very helpful. Definitely returning when we come through the area the next time.

In January 2016, we stayed here for one night. We were offered a double room with air conditioning and a cable to the bathroom for 1150 PHP. The room was roomy, clean, and just what we needed after a long day of cycling. The home-cooked food was by far the best part for us. Coming from England, we were incredibly happy to finally have a roast dinner, beans on toast, and a fry up! Everything was delicious and lovingly prepared. It was a real treat to remind us of home. The staff was wonderful, particularly the owner, who was helpful and made sure we had everything we required.

We stayed three nights at this hotel and stopped here to spend the night. This is a nice place. Best rates around and the cuisine is fantastic. The staff was very helpful and gave us information about the area. They have a boat tour and walk along the beach.
