We enjoyed our short stay at The Clipper Hotel which was recommended by friends. Check in was seamless and Jena the front desk person and all around multitasker was extremely helpful, polite and friendly. All of the staff were accessible when needed. The room was huge enough to do my daily exercise routine and was cleaned thoroughly upon arrival. Bathroom was also large. I had the corner unit which included a full size frig and microwave, safe and tv (channels were all local). There are many restaurants and pubs, coffee houses, 7-11’s just a few steps away so you will not be short of dining choices. It was easy to call a Grab ride to take out outside of the Poblacion area. The cons were the shower pressure was weak although the water was hot! And it is quite noisy especially at night to be expected as this is the nightlife area. But it was okay for us. Would definitely stay there again and recommend

I had another great stay at the Clipper hotel! The room was very clean and comfortable. The room size was perfect for me. The front desk was very helpful. Chianna at the front desk was great. Housekeeping was superb. The lady who makes breakfast makes a great omelet. Great staff and my favorite hotel in Makati.

I was staying alone for 10 days when the Taal Volcano erupted, and I got extremely anxious, having no one I knew in the Philippines. I started having a sore throat and coughing, but then masks were sold out everywhere. I was feeling extremely nervous about the whole situation. However, this really nice lady went to buy a package of masks for me, and all I had to do was pay her back. There were also other things they did for me which surprised me for the level of their kindness, but I won't disclose the details to protect privacy. The man who cleaned my room every day was so kind and professional also. The only thing which I thought could improve was the wifi speed, that's it. Overall, this hotel literally felt like an oasis to me during my whole stay. I am immensely grateful for the great level of comfort that they provided me. フィリピンに用事があり１０日間一人で滞在しないと行けなかった際、評判が良かったこちらにしました。スタッフの方々の対応が素晴らしかったです。滞在中にタール火山が噴火し、喉の違和感や咳が出てきたときは、一人だったのでとても不安でした。どこに行ってもマスクは売り切れでした。しかしフロントの方が買ってわざわざ来てくださり、あとでお金を渡しました。 空港はその頃たくさんのフライトがキャンセルになったりして私のフライトは大丈夫だろうか、など本当に不安だったのですが、皆さんが本当に優しく、このホテルはこころのオアシスのような感覚でした。 清掃員の男性もとても親切でした。 一つだけ改善点を挙げるとwifiが遅かったことです。 スタッフの方の優しさとプロフェッショナルさのおかけで、滞在中の不安もかなり和らぎました。どうもありがとうございました。
