We have stayed here several times. It has a great atmosphere and beautiful decor. If the rooftop bar is open, you have to go there. Great old hotel.

Will return. Delicious local wine list, mouthwatering cuisine, and meticulous service, even when understaffed. Dining in the streetfront areas is pleasant, with powerful heating and perfect acoustics.

The best rooftop bar in victoria. 360degree views of queenscliff, pt lonsdale, port Phillip heads, and swan bay. Amazing!.

Excellent views from the rooftop bar. A perfect 10 for me. Red Thai curry and Asian fusion mussels are delicious. The old Victorian structure is a classic.

Queenscliff is a little sleepy town. Everything ends at 8.30 pm. The vue grand was a very nice place to stay and eat. We had a room with a spa bath and a separate shower. It was really nice. Pleasant and efficient service. Bistro is of good quality.

I came here with a friend and we decided to share a lovely platter of cured meats, cheese, vegetables and local olives. The staff were so nice (thank you, Nicole and harry). We polished off a lovely red wine and felt very relaxed by the end of the day. This place apparently rocks in summer with live music. But on a winter day it was nice. I know there is great history here but i was smitten by the line up of musicians coming up. Good parking. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly fly with high chairs available. I will be back.

Its very nice to have the chance to visit and eat in such a historic place. The view from the rooftop is beautiful, and the chance to stay in a special overnight stay at the turret would be a future wish to add to the list! The location is perfect, with stunning views.

The building was lovely, and both booking and checkin were excellent. The room was immaculate, and it was conveniently located next to stores. However, the heater blew out air, leaving no heat, and the room was frigid! Due to the extreme cold, i would not return.

The building is stunning and historic. The rooms are tastefully decorated in the period. The restaurant serves a delicious dinner. The staff is friendly and helpful. Drinks on the rooftop bar while watching a stunning sunset. Unfortunately, due to a false alarm, the fire truck outside our window kept us awake.

Nice hotel. Amazing and friendly staff. The rooms are spacious. There is no parking at the hotel but there is plenty around the hotel. There are many food options in the area, but most of them close around 9 pm. We visited them before the public holiday. They were kind enough to keep the hotel inhouse open for guests on Sunday nights.

I had lunch at the calarmi at the vu, and it was delicious. The italian pinot grigio wine was also fantastic and musttry.

The food service felt a bit amateur. The food itself was good, but we felt rushed and at one point encouraged to bring our dessert and wine back to our room as they packed up at 9 pm on a Saturday night. A far cry from the very impressive degustation service we experienced a few years ago.

The hotel is in the heart of queenscliff. The rooms are spacious and wellequipped. The staff is friendly and welcoming. There are many different types of rooms, from basic to luxurious. Perfect place to stay for local attractions such as blues train, queenscliff fort, sorrento ferry and more, most of which are within walking distance. The hotel has a restaurant and bar with a great menu. Check out the rooftop bar for an amazing view of the city.

My daughters and i came here today for lunch and a cold drink. Kayla was a sweetheart, she even went above and beyond to help me by taking care of one of my girls while i took the other to the bathroom. Kayla, thank you! I hope the other less friendly staff follows your lead!.

The room was tidy and roomy. Its advisable to check the observation deck first as there are 74 stairs involved. The bar was not open when we arrived, so we had to descend to have a drink. Strangely, breakfast wasnt provided in the morning, however there were other options available in the city.

We were in queenscliff with friends for the blues train on a Saturday night so staying at the Vue grand was very convenient, a short walk from the railway station. Its a beautiful historic hotel that has been well maintained. Our room was large with a very comfortable king size bed. The shower was a bit cramped but had plenty of hot water. There was no place to hang clothes. It was a cold weekend but the heating in the room was more than adequate.
